I recently stayed at CrossTimbers Marina and had a wonderful experience. The views were beautiful, and the setting was peaceful and quiet, which made it feel very relaxing. I also really appreciated the sense of intimacy the place offered, making it perfect for a calm getaway. Overall, it was a simple and enjoyable stay that I would happily recommend.
Wonderful stay for our quick getaway. If you want to get away inexpensively this is the place for you. Walking distance to a great restaurant with extremely friendly employees.
Excellent for a romantic getaway. You will not regret it. The room was nice clean and cozy, right at the shore, a beautiful scenery and so relaxing. The host was excellent, answered every question I had in a timely manner. I can't wait to return!
Great view of the lake plus staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only drawback eas the shower floor and seat were very slippery. This was reported to the staff upon checkout so it’s probably been taken care of now. The Eatery Pub had great food. It averaged 105 the 5 days we were there so the fishing was BAAAD! even with a pair of experienced guides with electronics. We are definitely coming back when it’s cooler!
Absolutely beautiful! The only downside was the parking. The lodge has a very small shared lot that can be difficult to maneuver. However, the host kindly allowed me to park in a larger lot down the driveway.
The host was awesome as they left a lovely gift for our 20th anniversary! Very sweet and heartwarming. The cottage is quaint and the view wonderful. Felt like being on a ship!
It's a cute little cottage in a beautiful location. We had coffee every morning on the porch overlooking the lake and watching the fishermen. It was just a walk up the hill to the pub (awesome) and the marina were we easily rented a pontoon boat for the day. The staff at each place was very helpful and friendly.
