Nothing unique to be found here, There are no guides for cable stations nor current shows. No note pad nor pen to write with. No Gideon Bible either. The right side of bed collapses if you get too close to edge. Room was quiet and had coffee maker. HVAC worked well as did bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was decent but no sweet rolls nor Danish. Grade: C.

The hotel is dated but was very clean. However the smell of weed the first night was overwhelming when we checked in. I asked to switch floors but no rooms were available.

Tony the house person was fabulous humble and very helpful as well as the entire staff the woman and gentlemen that attended to the breakfast bar were exceptional as well checking in was a breeze and checking out as well the the staff again were exceptional! Ms. Raqhel Young and family are very grateful as the stay was for the Universal of Spartanburg North graduation ceremony!

No problem checking in after a tiring drive. Quiet within our room which made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning with that all important requirement: Great Coffee, made for a good start back on the road!!!

Great price, clean rooms, friendly staff. Rooms are dated, reflected in the price, but it has all the amenities (fridge, microwave, continental breakfast). Hotel and rooms are clean

Couldn't have been better
The staff at this hotel were incredible from the ones who checked us in to the cleaning staff. They were so friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean hotel. Extra things included. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast I have had. They go the extra mile. I highly recommend.

Needs renovations
Old, and in desperate need of renovations. Mattresses were lumpy, room musty smelling and your feet stuck to the carpet. Hampton Inn is not what they use to be

Hotel off 85 and walking distance to restaurants
The hotel was right off of I-85. There was an Arby's, Raceway gas station, and a QT gas station within walking distance from the hotel. There were a few other restaurants in walking distance to the hotel as well. The hotel looks a little outdated, but it smelled good and all staff were friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast lady kept the hot bar filled and cleaned!!! I liked the variety of pillows which ranged from soft to firm. The bed was quite hard and that is why I gave a 3 for comfort.
