The interior is crafted from northern white cedar and heart hickory flooring, giving the cabin the ambiance of an upscale mountain lodge. The primary bedroom is just off the great room, with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and direct deck access. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with one queen and one full-size bed. On the lower level is yet another bedroom with a king bed that also features direct access to the lower deck. \- Main level: Massive windows and high ceilings with hand-hewn beams welcome you into this spacious main level. Additionally, the upstairs bed was dirty, with visible hair and a crunchy white substance on the bedding. A lot of the kitchenware like pots, pans, strainer and baking sheets had visible food still on them. The fireplace was so cozy. The outdoor space was really nice with a pretty view. We booked it for the fenced yard for our pups which was much appreciated. It is nice that the decks attach to the fenced yard so we didnt have to leash them to get to it. We cooked a lot and appreciated both the kitchen and the grill. We would definitely stay again. Very clean and comfortable! We had a group ranging from 8 to 86 and everyone had a ball! The fenced in backyard was a nice bonus as we had our little dog with us! Your Comments Our family gathered at Crazy Like a Fox for the Labor Day weekend and enjoyed every minute. The house delivered everything we expected. Our one small question (where are the pool balls?) was answered quickly and satisfactorily by Stay Blue Ridge. We had the space we needed for everyone to sleep comfortably, even my 7 month old grandson’s pack and play fit easily in one of the spacious bedrooms. The deck and grounds were lovely and accommodated all our outdoor leisure time. The fire pit is great and there are plenty of shade trees. We didn’t even leave to explore the area because the spot was so beautiful! It was a pup’s paradise too. We cooked all our meals at the house and even baked a birthday cake. We found the kitchen to be well supplied. Overall a great trip! We would love to return! ##### Debbie B. Wonderful home, great location, beautiful area. Very clean, big rooms. Four adult couples, yet enough space to get away for quiet time. Plenty of deer watching. Early morning was my favorite - sitting on the back porch, coffee in hand, listening to the birds. Highly recommend this home!! ##### Jere D. Beautiful home, great location, nice yard and was fenced in loved that because we brought our two dogs. Nice back porch with a beautiful views of the Carolina mountains. We stayed with our friends, kids and dogs at Crazy Like a Fox. It is a beautiful, quiet, safe location. A comfortable and gorgeous home. We loved the fenced yard for the dogs, and sometimes the kids! It was too cold to use the fire pit, but we enjoyed the fireplace in the cabin. Sparta is a quick drive and a very cute town to visit. Stink bug infestation in upper level due to uneven heat distribution among floors. Freezing lower level, ok main floor, sweltering upper level. Onky one unit. Lost water for 2 days.
