Welcome to our cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a full front porch view overlooking the Little River. Relax to the sound of rolling water and quiet surroundings of beautiful forest. Cast a line from the bank, dock, or wade the river for rainbow, brook, and brown trout. Also, hike, bike, mountain bike, canoe, kayak, or tube the river for an all-out adventure retreat! you have the best of land or water. Never be out of contact, as we have High-Speed Fiber internet and whole house wifi. This home is adjacent to a custom-built pavilion with an incredible outdoor rock fireplace, kitchen, and half bath. Add this option to your stay to have an incredible family experience, cookout, and get-together for the whole crowd. Enjoy covered seating for 30+ guests with picnic tables, lounge chairs, and gas grill. Make this your getaway for making memories. River House

This was a delightfully peaceful stay for my husband and me. There is plenty of room for at least 6 people and even a detached building/BBQ to entertain around 30 people and ample parking.David Woodie is a wonderful host. This is the second time we have stayed at one of this Host’s properties. It is very conveniently located to downtown Sparta, which is charming. Great restaurants with live music, shopping and grocery store close by (10 minutes away). We loved it! Looking forward to going back!

This is a wonderful rental property if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beauty of the river. There is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked for everything that is needed. The kitchen was well equipped.The front porch is a wonderful place to relax while enjoying the river view and the sound of the water flowing over the rocks. It is also close to area parks.I definitely hope to come back again!

Hidden Gem

This place is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a peaceful setting but close to downtown Sparta! You can listen to the sounds of the river from the front porch. The place feels more like a cozy home instead of a house with everything you need for your stay. There is a great pavilion area set up nicely for gatherings. Weekend getaway

We were looking for a nice quiet getaway to just relax and the riverhouse was everything we hoped it would be. House is fully stocked with everything you could need, and was very clean. We loved the outside pavilion, every night we built a fire and pulled a table up and played cards or a game of monopoly. David was quick to reply when messaged with questions. Owners are super friendly and helpful. We cant wait to go back.

a gentle river with perfect temperatures for late summer

My guests and I all agreed this was one of our favorite vacays together, and we've had several. The house was well stocked & comfortable. The outdoor pavilion was a bonus for s'mores in September! No neighbors except up the hill. Just the trout in the river. We loved being here.

Location location location

Right on the river, plenty of outdoor seating, walking paths along the river! The kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor pavilion was perfect for an evening fire and making smores. Can’t wait to come back to this little slice of heaven. So close to Camp Cheerio and Sparta! Perfect location!

Second time we’ve stayed here and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. House is right on the Little River and very private. Property is well maintained and house is very clean with a lot of extras that you typically have to purchase with a rental.
