"Great for kids, whole wall blackboard, kids bedroom has toys and TV. Lots of board games.Best for young families. Us older people found the steep steps out the back door tricky. And sofa lounge not comfortable for us.Every thing you need is provided and good spot for travelling to close towns. Nice sandy beach is 1 street away that you can drive right to it, with shallow water for kids.Brewery worth a visit"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Impressive layout for the yard with the huge swing gate, allowed some to park behind while others were undercover by the shed. Neat inside and out. The deck was great but could benefit from a sunshade although we found the building provided areas of shade on the deck to be used productively during the day.We eat meals in while away because of the dogs so the galley kitchen took a bit to get used to but once we kicked the dogs out from under feet (my staffy likes to lie at my feet while I prep), we made it work. The lack of dishwasher began as a negative but forced the kids to be more involved, so I wasn't complaining about that.The rooms were lovely and comfortable, slept so well every night. Nothing worse than a holiday to rest and relax, when you can't sleep well.Was a little miffed by the fan and AC configuration. Decided that the idea might be to have the AC in the main area and front bedroom on together to cover all areas but was still puzzled why the two middle rooms were the only ones without fans.The weekend we stayed wasn't too hot, so it really didn't phase us in the end, but warmer days might become uncomfortable. Overall, we had a lovely time away and came home energized to tackle the summer stretch of work before Christmas.We always choose to stay in 'Accommodation on Yorkes' properties because they are well maintained and the girls at AOY are lovely."

"What a wonderful week! This property was perfect house for our family trip of 12 for a week away! The beach was a 3 minute walk away so if we were not taking a stroll on the beach, crabbing or fishing, we relaxed on the balcony with the perfect view. Arrival & departure was easy, house was very clean, great wardrobe space in all rooms which enabled us to fully unpack and feel at home. Stairs are fully enclosed with railing so safe for the kids to come up and down themselves. Two lounge areas with big TVās so we used one as kids playroom downstairs which was perfect. Kitchen is very well equipped for all cooking needs (slow cooker, rice cooker, sandwich press, blender) and for a house of 12 so handy to have a large oven, fridge & washing machine. Our favourite feature of the house was the balcony, with comfortable furniture and enclosed roof we spent a lot of time relaxing and taking in the view even when it rained. The fire pit space out the back for sitting around toasting marshmallows was our second favourite feature."
