This home provides stunning river & mountain vistas. The decor and setting evoke the Western Culture & Vintage Days of years past. This is a place designed with a vision of creating memories with your family and friends on vacations that will transcend a lifetime. The decor provides a setting that will leave indelible impressions on your mind as laughs and stories are shared in the home over dinner or on the deck watching the sunset over the mountains. You can enjoy the trout sipping flies on lazy summer mornings and evenings while watching & listening to the peaceful river flow by. There is a menagerie of birds and lots of wildlife that can be seen from the property like deer grazing in the meadow across the river. The open floor plan make this an ideal set up for vacations where you can gather with friends and family. Each Bedroom has it's own private bathroom that creates private spaces as well. There is a 5th bathroom off the loft as well if multiple people need the restroom at once or an extra shower. There are 2 Master Bedrooms on the main level with sliding glass doors to the covered deck overlooking the river. These bedrooms feature King Size Beds & TV's. Bedrooms 3 & 4 are upstairs off the loft area with tv's in each bedroom as well. There is a shuffle board table and TV in the loft along with a private sitting area. The kitchen & living room are open spaces for social interaction. You can watch the snow fly over the river and enjoy the comfort of a warm fire in the fireplace. The kitchen and dining area are set up with a dining table and a bar area as well. During nice weather you can sit on the deck and also eat at the outdoor table area. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, plates, utensils etc. All your need to bring is your suitcase and food for a stay that will transcend your lifetime. This home is a perfect basecamp located near the center of the action available in South Fork, CO. During the summer months one can play a round of Golf just minutes away at the Legendary Rio Grande Club, book a guided fly fishing trip on the Rio Grande, raft trip, rent ATV's, jeep, ride horses, or just explore the National Forest minutes from the property. You are about 20 minutes from the Historic Town of Creede and can visit the walkable downtown area for lunch, dinner, shops, or an evening watching a Theatre performance presented by the Creede Repertory Theatre. The is a plethora of outdoor adventure and cultural opportunities at your finger tips from this property. Please note that you are only allowed to fish on this property and the site just West to the edge of the water pump house next door. This area is all "Catch & Release" with flies and lures only. You need a fishing license to fish in this area and these can be purchased at Rainbow Grocery, which is located about 3 minutes away. Wolf Creek Ski Area boasts of the "Most Snow in Colorado" and is approximately 20 minutes away. There are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails during the winter and lots of places to snowshoe, cross country ski, and ice fish. Come stay at our river haven where you can relax to the sounds of the flowing Rio Grande, enjoy the western comfort of the home that offers state of the art kitchen appliances, or go exploring into the wonderful wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. The property has lots of parking to the West side for Trucks with ATV Trailers & Snowmobile trailers as well. This property is a rare find because you can ride your ATV's Directly from the property and use the Town of South Fork's Trail System to access hundreds of miles of Forest Service Roads & Trails. One needs to purchase the appropriate permits through the South Fork Vacation Center. The Forest Service Permit can be purchased at Rainbow Grocery. It was great to have plenty of bed and bath rooms to accommodate a large group. The kitchen also had ample seating options for large family meals and games. The home is nicely decorated and the view out the back is stunning. I subtract one star for a less than desirable view out front, but it's not a big deal since there are very few windows facing that direction.We appreciated the ample supply of linens for the bedrooms and spices in the kitchen. I would say that the nonstick cookware was really scratched and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable cooking in it. We ran short on paper goods (TP, paper towels, and kleenex) as the supply for 5 bedrooms was a bit lacking. We appreciated plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner but would have appreciated more than 2 dishwasher pods for a 4 night stay - especially in a 5 bedroom cabin. The house felt generally clean but didn't feel exactly sanitized compared to other places we've rented.We found left over items in the fridge/freezer from previous guests, crumbs, etc. in the kitchen cabinets and drawers, and long dark hairs on the sheets in the master bedroom. Again, we loved the spaciousness and back view and would probably book again, but attention to a few of the details I mentioned would really make this an over the top experience. Btw, cudos to quick and courteous response from management with all our questions! ##### Penny D. House is beautifully decorated and looks like the photos. Neighborhood was peaceful and safe. Loved the view of the river. Kitchen was stocked adequately. This property was perfect for our group since the kiddos had a huge open bonus room all to themselves complete with adorable beds, teepees, a beanbag, and their own tv. The adults enjoyed gathering in the open concept living, kitchen, and dining areas for meals, games, drinks, and laughs. The gas fireplace added to the warm and cozy gathering while we spent time together as a family. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which makes this home perfect for multiple couples. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained and we had everything we needed to cook a large meal and keep up with laundry. Location was fantastic for skiing Wolf Creek and we would love to return in the summer to fish right from the backyard. Beautiful property that we highly recommend! ##### Jenn E. This home is brand new and it had all the amenities we needed. The fire pit was one of our favorite nighttime activities. Access to Wheeler Geologic was right across the water. The HooDoos were a sight to see. We took a day off from Jeeping to raft the Rio. Check out the town of Creede while you are in the area. We will be back ##### Lindsay W. The location you just can’t beat. The check in and a message from the owner before arrival was great! Making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.
