"We were fortunate enough to stay at Ladera for our honeymoon!! From the arrival to the departure we experienced such hospitality and friendly smiles. The open room concept was amazing, and a view you will remember forever! We enjoyed the Soufriere experience excursion, our guide was great and it was a lot to do in one excursion! I’d deff say that was a must do. The nature trail on the resort was great as well, they don’t mention the stunning view you get to see at the top!! It was so amazing that we did it twice. One thing I was worried about was bugs but they do a great job cleaning and every night so a turn down service such as lighting mosquito repellents etc. so no complaints there! My husband already promised coming back for our 5 year anniversary! It’s deff a place we will be visiting again. Thank you Ladera for making our honeymoon perfect. "

"This villa is located in a prime location with magnificent views of the piton and ocean. It’s up on a ridge surrounded by floral gardens, with visits from lizards and birds. The patio was perfect place to relax with a zen-like atmosphere. We spent 75% of our time there playing games, relaxing and eating. The pool is secluded and private, with refreshing water. The rooms are open air with screens over shutters. As expected, mosquitos are present. But the fans, peppermint oil, and nets did help prevent bites. Breakfast was prepared by Tamara with an assortment of delicious seasonal fruits, eggs made to order, smoothies and anything else requested. We had dinner prepared several nights, which were delicious creole dishes. Tamara and Cletus went above and beyond as hosts, making us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Best warm and friendly hosts we’ve ever experienced. Would go back!Rent a car and you can drive to the beautiful Anise Mamín (our favorite is this one and secluded beach next to it) and Sugar beach if desired (not as great as advertised). Right below the house (2min walk) is project chocolate, which has a wide variety of food, alcohol and coffee to enjoy. The botanical gardens and Jurassic trail were some of the highlights of our visit. There are about 4-5 restaurants at resorts nearby (all within a 10 min beautiful walking distance) that offer great food as well. The sulfur springs are NOT walkable (all steep downhill), but you can park for free or have driver. "

"We loved our time in St Lucia and at Caldera Villas. Our trip pretty much started before we arrived as we had atleast a million questions for our host Valna and she responded to them all with excellent advice and suggestions. The property was very modern and clean and its location made it easy to walk into the town for food or just to explore. I not only recommend these villas but strongly recommend Valna a supreme host who is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the island of St Lucia. Stay here and ask for her, thank me later!!"

"We had a beautiful view, the beach right on the property isn’t as nice as the others, but it’s very close drive to sugar beach and Anse . I definitely recommend a car. Michelle was so helpful even I locked myself outside on the balcony. The bar/restaurant downstairs had great food and it’s super convenient "

"Staying here was a dream. We stayed in a cottage, up in the hills, set all the way back in the rainforest. It was quiet, romantic, and tranquil. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the entire trip. Our cab and shuttle drivers were amazing and informed us of the history of St. Lucia as we drove. The resort offers a free shuttle to Sugar Beach, which has a section of chairs you can pay for or a section for free (first come basis). The dining options at Fond Doux were delicious, fresh, and used local ingredients. We really enjoyed the cuisine. The pools on the property were great. One of them has an outdoor area with a wall of books. Another, newer pool, has tables and a beautiful view of the rainforest. Overall, we were so happy with our experience and would absolutely come back to stay in the future."
