Good is great and staff are lovely. However, the condition of the rooms was less than satisfactory. One of the booked rooms for our group had ripped, stained towels on offer for the bathroom… Another issue was with the shower in the couples room not having a way to only turn one shower head on, it just runs both at low pressure. The bathroom sink hot taps are almost unusable, being close to boiling. I very rarely leave poor reviews as I’m aware of their impact. But in all fairness and honesty, the Red Lion was actually the worst part of our weekend trip. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding.
