St Regis Resort is a family-friendly facility located on a beautiful 26-mile-long barrier island on the coast of North Carolina. The address is 2000 New River Inlet Road North Topsail Beach and the unit number is 3511; located in the 3rd building on the 5th floor and faces the north with exceptional views of the ocean, inlet, and sound. The floor plan includes a beautiful kitchen with 3 year old stainless steel Frigidaire brand appliances including a refrigerator with ice maker, oven, glass surface cooktop stove (no steamer pots allowed on stove), microwave, and dishwasher. The refrigerator doors open so that someone wanting a snack or beverage can snag the goods and not have to be standing in the middle of the kitchen. How convenient! Counter appliances include an electric can opener, bagel sized toaster, and combination 12-cup drip coffee maker / single cup-Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen is equipped with tools to prepare a special land or sea feast including a few cookbooks and overlooks a counter height dining table with seating for six including a bench seat with storage and storage at each end of the table. One kitchen towel, one dishcloth, potholder/oven mitts, dishwasher pods (2), paper towels (1 roll), trash bags (2), dish detergent (1) and coffee filters (2+) will be provided for your stay. All sliding glass doors are accented with filtered curtains that have very little light blocking so you will know when the day has started and enjoy the beautiful scenery! The living room includes FRIENDLY TURTLE wall decor, a remote-controlled ceiling fan/light, large flat screen wall mounted TV, a DVD player, a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, matching loveseat and chair with ottoman. There are also a couple of poofs for your feet to rest on and a pre-lit palm tree. Linens for the queen sleeper sofa are located in the guest bedroom closet. Various books, DVD's, and games are located under the TV and cushioned bench with storage. Throws are also provided. Sliding doors open to the private balcony with three bar height heavy duty chairs, two stools, and one side table overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and North Topsail Beach. The unit contains two bedrooms located on either side of the living room, each with balcony access and remote-controlled ceiling fan/light fixtures. The master includes a king size bed, twin sleeper chair (linens/pillows located in the closet), mounted flat screen TV, and full master bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes one full size and one twin size bed, mounted flat screen TV, and balcony access. Across the hall is an additional full bathroom with shower/tub combination. Sheets, coverlets, pillows, pillow protectors, mattress protectors are provided for all beds including the sofa and chair sleepers. Each registered guest will be provided with one bath towel and one washcloth. Two hand towels per bathroom will also be provided. Additional bath towels are made available for a fee of $3.00 each when requested PRIOR to the rental date. Hand soap and one roll of bath tissue will be provided in each bathroom. Flush only toilet paper. DO NOT FLUSH SAND, BABY WIPES, PAPER TOWELS, FEMININE PRODUCTS, etc. An apartment sized stackable washer and dryer are located across from the kitchen (NO SAND / SMALL LOADS). The coffee maker took a little bit of getting used to, and we found the oven to be less efficient than what we used to at home, but regardless, we were able to comfortably prepare meals in the apartment throughout the week. We had excellent communication with the host. kitchen was well stocked with all the needed accessories. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is nicely furnished, remodeled, clean and very comfortable. The owners have taken great care and put thought into making their guest stay as comfortable as possible! The unit has an ocean view and is located on the top floor (5th) of one of three buildings on the property. There is a pool with a cabana that serves food and drinks (hours of operation vary by day of the week). Also, there are two beach access points one with stairs and the second a ramp, very convenient if pulling a cart or coolers to the beach. Overall, the property (building) a little tired and could use some additional maintenance/refresh of exterior paint, etc. but that did not impact our overall enjoyment of our stay. ##### Olga K. From the moment you walk into the condo you feel home. It is so beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The view is beautiful and sunrise every morning was breathtaking! It was also nice to be able to see the end of the island and the water surrounding. The pool and walkway to the ocean are right at the condo which made access to either super easy. There is also a ramp by the pool if steps are an issue or you have a cart you take to the beach which was also nice. Words cannot describe just how much our family enjoyed our stay here. It is definitely our favorite place we have stayed since coming to Topsail and we cannot wait to come back! Christy is very thoughtful and made sure we knew that if we needed anything she was just a call away. The way she treats her guests and does little things to show she cares is something we will never forget. Ms. Bennett has impeccable interior decorating skills and she makes sure the condo is clean and prepared when you arrive. She provides not only the essentials but also items other VRBO's do not provide i.e. books on the history of Topsail Island, National Audubon books on shells you find on the beach, plant life and birds. She also provides games and lots of DVD's to watch. The condo is spotless. There are two coffee makers built into one (drip type and coffee pod type). Full supply of nice utensils, plates and cooking pots and pans. The bathrooms are spotless as well and cleaned regularly. You can tell Ms. Bennett takes pride in her condo. The turtle decor is beautiful and the little, artificial palm tree with the turtle lights is so relaxing at night as you are settling down. We wish more condo owners took such pride. My husband grew up in North Carolina and spent the 60's and 70's at North Topsail beach. He spent so much time fishing off Topsail Pier.
