This charming, 3 bedroom, 2 bath Carolina coastal beach cottage is perfect for a family getaway! With an updated kitchen, the family can enjoy cooking and dining, all in the beautifully decorated open floor plan. North Topsail Beach is very quiet and undeveloped compared to most other beaches in the area but is just a 10-minute drive from Surf City or Sneads Ferry. Sweet Dreams: \*Linens (bed/bath) are not included! The deck is great - partially covered by a lovely pergola for those who like a little shade. There are four sliding glass doors that open onto it - two off the great room and one off each of the ocean side bedrooms affording spectacular views and easy access. Location: The real charm of the place is the location. This home is in North Topsail Beach, away from the relative bustle of town where you will find quiet streets and more secluded stretches of beach. You can easily choose between a short drive into Sneads Ferry or Surf City for delicious dining or a day of shopping. It is a quiet and beautiful escape from your hectic daily lives. The beach in front of the house is never crowded, although there is a public area with bath houses and concessions about a mile down so if you are in the mood to be around people you are just a short walk away. Beds were comfortable, but bc they are kings not much room in the BRs otherwise. Large (40ft?) Ocean front deck with shaded pergola. AC worked great. Def some signs of being so close to the ocean, floor was a bit soft in some areas, walk down stairs from deck to beach felt safe but definitely askew. Despite the lil things, 5/5 for location, appliances, deck, beach size at low tide, and uniqueness being located so far forward. ##### Preston D. We loved this place so much we stayed there twice this summer! Location right on the water can't be beat. The beach is quiet and beautiful, not terribly crowded even on a holiday weekend. Perfect for our baby to nap inside while we enjoyed the beach within baby monitor range. Outdoor shower was a huge plus. Smart speakers throughout the home. TV and comfortable king bed with 2 pillows in each bedroom. Bedrooms were a little tight but we were able to fit a pack n play in ours, and there are dressers/closets to keep luggage out of the way. Make sure to remember to pack your own towels and bedlinens, or you can rent them from Ward realty, but they weren't included. Bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys as well. Things like soap, paper products also not included. Accommodations are a little more bare bones than other rentals so just important to be aware and pack accordingly so you can spend your time enjoying the beach rather than driving to Publix for TP 😆. Deck, furnishing, and appliances all functional but a little worn, but I wouldn't expect anything different in such a high wear and tear environment. My family made some wonderful memories at this house and we can't wait to come back next summer! ##### Gillian T. The half bath was in the laundry room and was very cramped and smelled funny. So it would have been difficult to have any more than 2-3 people. There was hardly any water pressure in the indoor and outdoor showers which is a shame. There was broken rusty deck furniture on the deck when we arrived. I called Ward Realty and they had it removed quickly. The proximity of the house to the beach was unsurpassed and made up for any imperfections!
