This cosy house can accommodate up to 4 people in its 1 bedroom & mezzanine attic and is located within short drive distance from the closest beach. Additionally, it offer easy access to all daily amenities such as super markets, tavernas, bakery, butcher, grocery store and cafe, all within 2 Km in the area of Xanemos & Skiathos town centre. Interior Design Entering Eleni's Cottage you will be enchanted by the simplicity and beauty of the layout, bringing in mind mysterious chic cottages. Eleni's Cottage is a unique home of 50m2, just recently renovated by the owners with love, care and attention which was gently offered to every detail, having the guests’ convenience in mind and at heart. The open plan area consists of the living room, where the open fireplace adds a touch of warmth and a dining table for all guests. A few steps away the open plan fully equipped kitchen offers contemporary design and provides everything essential for a self catered holiday. The room is bright and airy all day long thanks to the large windows and offers direct access to the veranda. The double bedroom boasts a bijou style, having a romantic look & feel that charms the senses through a bold colour palette, highlighted by the cypress green wall and decoration stamps, light brown wooden ceiling, beautiful everyday objects, metal comfortable bed with touches of gold and wonderful beddings in clear white. This bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom with a shower for your outmost comfort. The second (open style) bedroom, is a loft-type, lovely attic and can be accessed through a metal bespoke stair from the living room. It features four single beds and kids will love to make it their playing hideout, as well as big kids will find peace, using it as a resting place. An additional guest can be accommodated in the living room couch. Finally, an additional shared spacious bathroom with a walking in shower is also at the guests’ disposal. All beds have quality mattresses and mattress covers for your outmost comfort. Location Overview The only town on the island and a thriving cosmopolitan centre, Skiathos Town can accommodate all tastes. The town has a population of about 7,000 and is very attractive, with its jumble of red-roofed houses and climbing stone-paved streets. During the day the town can appear somewhat sleepy but in the evenings the waterfront hums with life and one is confronted with a daunting array of restaurants, cafe bars and tavernas. Nightlife could mean a quiet cafe, a lively bar or an up-to-the minute music club. Mama Mia movie was filmed there. We were shown around the villa and given contact details in case of any problems. Overall the villa met our expectations and we hada very nice and relaxing stay. Our host checked in regularly with us, and even made us some unexpected treats. I would recommend staying here if you don't mind a bit of noise from the airport, this was fine for us, as plane spotting was a big part of our trip, an updated on the directions to the villa would help future visitors. Eleni was a delight. She welcomed us with a homemade delicious nut bread and surprised us one day with a yummy pasta dish that we all shared. Upon leaving, she made us an almond bread that we appreciated so much! We went to the local grocery and prepared many meals at the house and dined on the porch. It was always so nice to come home after a long day at the beach or just exploring Skiathos. Mich hat's nicht gestört, im Gegenteil. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da. Die Besitzerin Eleni ist ausgesprochen nett und unkompliziert. Séjour de 19 nuits en septembre 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Simone R. 30 août 2018 #### Con tutti i confort Siamo stati nella casa 10 giorni, 2 coppie e un bimbo di 4 anni, e ci siamo trovati bene nonostante qualche timore iniziale per via della vicinanza con la pista di atterraggio, ciò nonostante si riesce a riposare tranquillamente anche perchè il traffico aereo sull'isola è ridotto ed è consentito dalle 6 alle 22\. La proprietaria risiede in una casa adiacente ed è molto gentile. Le pulizie vengono effettuate più spesso del previsto con cambio di asciugamani e lenzuola. Nel terrazzino esterno abbiamo fatto la colazione e l'aperitivo rinfrescati dal vento. C'è anche il posto auto interno. ##### Simone R. Séjour de 10 nuits en août 2018
