I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in the center of town to walk lots of places. A bit loud at night because it is in the center of town and next to a cinema. We initially had trouble getting the key pad to open the door, and we happened to arrive in Sitka when there was an island-wide wifi and cell outage, so it was impossible to contact the property manager. No one's fault there. It was clean and had all the necessities to cook for ourselves and space for us and our toddler. Beds were not the best. Reviewer Comments: We finally found it, after several attempts on our own, from the description provided to us. We had to call the property manager to finally find it. The property is definitely in the middle of the market area. Our rooms were facing the main street. The entrance stairs have an awkward angle to them, so you really feel off balance going up. The rooms were very clean and tidy. There are broken blinds in the living room and bathroom. We were not used to hearing the traffic, vendors, and the thousands of tourists making noise. This made sleeping in, not possible. We could hear a loose sewer cover being clanged by every vehicle, day and night. There were maintenance and construction crews working on an adjacent area, which added to the ambiance. There is a small tv, which you have to figure out yourself, and only works with your personal streaming services. The apartment is well furnished with appliances, dishes, and cooking utensils. The toilet may or might not refill, so be prepared to toggle the valve in the tank. The heat works fine, but no air conditioning, so the ambient light coming in through the broken blinds would raise the temperature quite significantly. We were definitely motivated to leave every day to go somewhere more quiet. Overall, I wouldn’t want to stay there more than a couple nights.
