We mainly cooked in and the kitchen had everything we needed to make it easy. The house is in a great spot with easy biking distance to the meadow, lakeside pool and lodge restaurants. Our stay started with a nice warm home to walk into, and the candy in the wine glasses on the countertop was a REALLY nice touch. The kitchen was equipped with a lot of pots & pans that made making our Thanksgiving prime rib a BIG success. The location was, of course, superb, being that it was in Black Butte. Once heated properly, The hot tub was very enjoyable, except that we couldn't figure out the jets to run both sides with pressure, or it only worked one side or the other. The place was clean, and we felt very comfortable with the furniture, too. The cleaning staff could only clean under furniture more often and knock down the cobwebs from the ceiling. Our dog sniffed out some old treats under the chair closest to the bathroom/master bedroom, and once we moved it, we noticed how much dust & dust bunnies were under there. We wanted to come back to this place for New Year's but saw it was booked. We'll keep trying to return to this cabin as we had such a wonderful and relaxing time there. My mom, sister and I stayed at this cabin for a little staycation and it didn’t disappoint! We loved the open deck with the hot tub and the cozy living room with a fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. It was so nice to have 3 separate beds, but also be close and not spread out in a huge home. This was perfect for us to have a girls weekend and such a relaxing getaway! The entire house is dark, except for sliding glass doors opening to deck. Many of the lights and electrical outlooks did not work. Floor mats in bathrooms were old and FILTHY. Killed several bugs upon arrival, and large yellow jacket during stay. This place is TIRED. Way overpriced for the quality of the space. Deck is nice. We would not recommend this place to anyone, unless it was properly described as an old cabin, and the price reduced by half to two-thirds. The place was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities and a great deck. The main floor lacked much natural light except in the morning. Stairs to the loft are quite steep and shower stalls quite small. Still, fairly valued and well kept. I would return. ##### David H. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and baking. The beds were very comfortable with huge soft pillows. The tv is huge and is over a lovely gas fireplace. Those big brown chairs in the living room were SO comfortable while watching movies! The private hot tub was wonderful in the snow. This cabin was cozy, clean, and cute. We had a chance to visit the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The gym was small, nice and clean with everything you’d need for a good work out. Great place ##### Linda P. The place has a few quirks that made the stay not as good as it could be. No blinds on sliding doors makes it so the neighbors across the way look right into the cabin. There is no privacy if any of of neighbors are home. The bathrooms are very small and the stairs to the loft are very dangerous. The TV and heating are way to complicated fir a vacation rental. Other than those things it was a nice cozy cabin. ##### seann i.
