Siloam springs isn’t too far away to go get groceries for your stay. It’s perfect for a family getaway. They’ve got the beginnings of a game room in the basement. Fire pit and kayaks were a hit. House is dated but roomy and definitely was great for the weekend. We loved the river. Our dogs had a blast too (2 labs). Robert supplied adequate water for us and had the new pump installed by noon the next day! He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The rest of our stay went without a hitch.The kitchen got a lot of use. Basic supplies got the job done for us. I asked my family to each send a few words that described the property and here's what I got: cozy, familial, loved, well-worn, grounding, homey, cute, welcoming, warm and comfy. While it may have been an older house, you can tell it has been well-taken care of over the years. This property is the EXACT kind of place I imagine and hope for when staying at a vacation rental (which can be hard to find these days).It was by far the absolute CLEANEST property I've stayed at. The kitchen has everything you need from pots and pans, to mixing bowls and plenty of dish-ware for larger groups. The owners were communicative, but also left us to enjoy our stay unless we had any questions or issues (which we didn't).
