« It was a lovely home - clean and easy to be in. Super spot in a comfortable and nice neighborhood. The property is very well kept. The furnishings were updated and pretty. The kitchen was nice and the fridge new and clean. The outdoor bedroom was great because it was a quiet space, but those who use it need to be able to navigate stairs and be okay with there being no attached bathroom. We enjoyed the deck and the cute lights, and the blooming flowers in the boxes. There is no air...

« This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more. »

« I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville. »
