Welcome to Forest Edge Hideaway, tucked into the quaint forest setting of the Musick Meadows neighborhood in Shaver Lake, CA. This cabin backs up to private Sierra National Forest land, making this property a peaceful and secluded retreat. Just minutes away from both Shaver Lake itself and the quaint downtown area, this location is the ideal starting point for your mountain getaway.

Within this cabin you will find both rustic and modern features, including a wood-beamed ceiling and cozy pellet stove in the living room, freshly updated kitchen and bathrooms, a full-sized washer and dryer, and a quaint deck to enjoy the natural mountain scenery. There is a generous kitchen island with seating for 8, the perfect place for the family to gather while meals are being prepared in the fully stocked kitchen. Relax comfortably on the leather sofas while watching movies on the wall-mounted smart TV in the living room. This unique layout has three sleeping areas, with plenty of beds to accommodate everyone in your party comfortably. There are two well-appointed bathrooms on either end of the cabin as well. Outside, the expansive yard is a playground for all ages, featuring a horseshoe pit and a jungle gym for the kids.

Beyond this cabin there are many outdoor activities awaiting! China Peak offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter and dirt bike trails in the summer. There are plenty of local options for hiking, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Kaiser Pass is open in the summer for your high elevation adventures. Just a short drive from this cabin is the quaint "downtown" area of Shaver Lake, with a few small shops and restaurants full of local charm. This property is wonderful! It’s at the end of a private road, with lots of activities for humans and dogs. The house has been updated with a fully equipped kitchen, and, while small, the house is very well setup for families. It has lots of seating and access to all the streaming services. We will be back!
