This property was just as it appears in the pictures. It's ideally located near Seward. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is fantastic! Clean, comfortable and amazing views!! Fire pit and BBQ area was great. Wish we were here longer! Kitchen was wonderfully stocked and appointed. Really could not have been happier with a place! The cookies were such a sweet treat!

Perfect place to stay when in Seward. This home is very well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. The host is so nice and friendly. The cookies were a nice touch also. You can't go wrong staying here.

It was a great place really nice very clean lots of space the host was very nice, loved all the history in the place, kids really loved it as well, the fresh baked cookies were like grandma cooked them.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Alaska sportsman’s home. The home has the best Alaskan decor! Everything was clean and well stocked. The owner came by to check on us and we enjoyed chatting with him.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough!! The house is absolutely beautiful and full of character. Every corner is thoughtfully curated, with fascinating animal specimens, unique artwork, and carefully selected decorations that make the home feel like it is filled with stories and history. It was a joy simply walking around and discovering all the details. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and generous. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with everything you need.

Wonderful cabin. Incredibly large kitchen. Very well stocked. Lona, the host, was great with communication and the cabin was super clean. She had thought of absolutely everything you could want. Great location and easy to find. Very close to Seward. Loved the authentic Alaskan decor. Beds were very comfortable, too. Definitely recommend!!

Ideal Basecamp for Adventures In and Around Seward

Cozy, comfortable location near central Seward. Proximate to downtown, the port and other outdoor destinations. Cabin has rustic charm and nice outdoor amenities in around the property.

Great Place Great Time

Alaskan Sportsman's Home is a perfect place to stay while in Seward. Just a few minutes from town for any tours or shopping. House has all the needed items you may need and great outdoor space for BBQ or fires.

Excellent place & loved the animals

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean & comfortable for our group of 6 adults. We enjoyed the decor & the house had everything we needed. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Would stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to travel back to AK!

We had a small family reunion here and it worked out perfectly for us. Plenty of beds, and tremendous hosts! We were too busy to use most of the outdoor cooking areas and games but plan on returning.
