"Stain sheets and room smelled like a wet dog. Only way to get Wi-Fi was to sign up for email blasts unless I paid. Zero streaming services on the TV, just basic TV with 30 channels of whatever. All not typical for today’s “Hotels”, more of a motel"

"The bed was awesome, and the hot water lasted a long time. The retro was very cool. We will definitely be back. And you can park , right in front of your room. The ice container for each room is a mini cooler to keep ur ice. It has everything you need, for your bathroom, like shampoo, body soap, ..."

Spectacular View of Grandfather Mountain!
"The VRBO overlooking Grandfather mountain was a gem.Loved the stone gas fireplace for the first chilly night.The view is fantastic.Check in very smooth.Bed comfy and everything was ss described.Highly recommend for a couple.So much to explore in the area.Otter falls just down the road.Thanks ..."

"Rooms were clean and staff was extra friendly... But the pictures on the site don't accurately represent this property. The inside of the lodge is very cool... but the game room pictures are apparently very old. The games shown in the pictures were not the same. The cool arcade games were missing... ..."
