The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse. Cannot get there and want skincare products? Both terminals 1 and 2 on level 1B at Incheon are large Olive Young stores, or when you are inside security the Duty Free shops have skincare lines and that always on special pricing. Perfect placement very close to Hongik Univ. underground station and green cozy area. Very nice staff. Very clean and we had all we needed. We stayed 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the family room. It was clean and has basic provisions as described. The insulation of the house was excellent such that we feel warm despite the cold outside. Easy access into guesthouse and room and also convenience to subway makes it worthwhile staying here. Owner and family members all rallied together to help us contact the necessary authorities when our luggage was delayed and helpled to receive our luggage at odd hours in the early mornjng. A few steps outside the accomodation was a hive of shopping streets, all within walking distance, including supermarkets. I would stay at Daol guesthouse again if I were to visit Korea and would recommend it to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay when in Seoul. Pl note that no breakfast is provided and the kitchen and all the electrical appliances in it are not accessible for the time being due to Covid.
