The staff is really nice and the property is really well positioned also the bed is really comfortable. You have a cafe downstairs which serves good coffe. Overall a good experience, we will be coming back!

Cave was clean, responsive, affordable, and extremely central. We had a private room with a private restroom. Check in was very easy - we didn't have wifi upon check in, and it was smooth.The location is ideal as a hub to go to different Gu's in Seoul. We had consistent hot water, a fridge in the room, and air conditioning. They even have a rooftop lounge area that allowed us to bask in the moonlight and city lights--all for an extremely affordable price. We will be checking with Cave for availability the next time we go to Seoul for sure.

Overall room was clean and quiet. Washroom is a wet bathroom so no shower stall and a bit of mold residue. Which I knew when I booked it. If you don't like that than I wouldn't stay here. Perfect place to just sleep and shoert term stay, close to myeongdong (about 5 minute walk)

To check in, you need to ask the staff at the coffee shop downstairs. You can see the Namsan Tower, but you have to climb uphill and there is no elevator in the building, but the staff will help carry your luggage.

Thin walls, you can hear the neigbouring rooms tv and conversation and the people in the hallway. Stains on the blanket. No bath towels. No elevator. No onsite staff. I would not recommend it for people who cannot walk uphill.

Ive stayed in A LOT of budget friendly hostels and hotels while traveling through again and this has got to be the worst. The rooms are patched up with stick on tiles and there still hole and gaps for mosquitoes to get in. I used the shower and it flooded half my room with water traveling under the bed and through my suitcase. When telling the property they simply said that the wood is swollen and I had to face the shower head a different way. Have no idea how they got more than 7 stars and photos are mostly of the Cafe separate to the hostel downstairs.

I stayed for about 5 days and 6 nights. I noticed that the staff were very accommodating and helpful with all the questions and concerns I had. The room was also clean and comfortable. Close to Myeongdong and a great place to stay for a solo trip.

Do not recommended. Never saw anyone at the reception, actually there is no reception, no human being. The room smell humidity the whole day, zven with the window and air conditioning on. Hotel name is cave and it does smell like a cave. First time I am writing a review, needed to do so to prevent other guest. I book that hotel for my parents who are elderly, I wish I didn’t. If I could I would've change hotel but there were all full in this season. Pass, there is much better hotel around.
