About this property

West Seattle Hideaway, 5 min from downtown/stadiums

  • This new construction will be the most convenient stay in West Seattle, We are 300 feet from a rapid ride bus that is 5 minutes to downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, Lumen field/T-Mobile Park, and light rail. The Hideaway is in a unique secluded area with a Rhododendron native garden. There are an abundance of local fresh beer pubs, and live music. Hideaway has TV, wet bar, and internet. There is a H-line Rapid Ride bus stop with a dedicated lane to downtown/stadiums about 1/2 block from unit. It takes 5 min. on the bus to downtown! We are almost door to door with Pike Place Market. We also have a dedicated parking spot for a large vehicle (not motorhome).
    We have soundproofed the ceiling but the separate unit with it's own door is below our house so you may hear occasional footsteps.

Very clean and cozy little basement apartment and very close to public transportation with easy bus ride downtown. The host, Jeff was very responsive to messages and we had a lovely stay.

It was clean and even though it didn't appear to have kitchenette, everything you needed to cook was readily available. This location is really close to transit so no car is required to stay here!

It is as pictured. It appeared clean when we checked in, but through out the evening I noticed just how many cob webs were EVERYWHERE. Corners, hanging from the ceiling, behind the couch, from the garage door track(I got a broom and knocked them down) so this makes me think that it actually is not all that clean, it just is surface clean. The hosts live upstairs and the noise from them walking around is very loud and horrible. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. I personally would not stay again because of the cob webs & the noise from above. I did not reach out to the host personally regarding these issues but after check in, Expedia asked how check in was and I mentioned the loud noise of walking above. I did not hear from the host regarding this nor did the noise lessen.

Moving from a small town to the big city can be a bit of a "fish out of water" experience, but this spot was the perfect place to find our gills. Honestly, the most important thing for us was feeling safe, and we felt 100% secure here—which is a huge win when you’re still figuring out which way is North.The vibe is super peaceful, tucked away among some seriously impressive trees and gardens. We knew we’d found a gem the second we hit the front door; the scent of the flowering Daphne bush is basically nature’s version of a high-end candle. It’s quiet enough to actually hear yourself think, yet close enough to everything. Our pets love their stay here. The hosts were absolute gems, too. They took the time to walk us through the "how-tos" of the unit and gave us the local scoop on the neighborhood, which was a lifesaver for the new kids on the block. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and a great way to kick off our Seattle chapter.

Cozy Get-away

This cozy unit is perfect for a couple who need a place to stay while visiting friends or family in the Cottage Grove/Delridge neighborhood of Seattle. The unit is off the main roads and is quiet and surrounded by trees.

Family trip

It was really nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, heaters worked really good! Plenty of little games to keep entertained on down time. Close to a couple of really good restaurants, and easy highway access to get to different parts of the city. Host was very friendly.

Small and Tidy

The property is just as described, and was adequate to sleep the 3 adults that stayed. The two beds are comfortable and well equipped. The couch slept my brother comfortably. Overall a great stay and well worth the price.

Great location JUST outside the city hustle

Location is the big seller - you can walk to the bus and be downtown fast, OR drive 5min north to the harbor ferry which is a great option. West Seattle also has some great walks & eats too, don't miss out there. The rental unit is basic but, clean, reasonable, and properly appointed - everything it needed to be. Would stay again!
