Les chambres sont assez spacieuse et la literie confortable, même si cela semble un peu vieillot...(c'est peu être à la mode en Angleterre..?) Toutefois, pour ce tarif on y est bien mieux que dans une chaine d'hôtel style F1... Bref pour un séjour sans se ruiner sur Durham et sa région, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! »

« Lovely cottage with good wheelchair access. The owners provided 2 raised toilet seats so didn't need to take our own ones. Friendly, helpful considerate owners. Lovely views from patio & conservatory. The beds were so comfortable that we have decided to buy new mattresses for our home. »

« Such a lovely place, in the centre of fields with horses grazing peacefully around making the setting perfect! 10 mins on foot to the beach (to go sea glass hunting) and 10 mins in the car to Morrisons. The beach is pebble and it has a steep incline so if (like me) you suffer with bad knees, you need to take care but it can be done. « Our stay over Christmas in the beautiful Kestral cottage was superb. Jean and Amy made us feel very welcome and went 'above & beyond' to make our stay perfect. The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and was spotlessly clean. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a quiet break in County Durham. Say hi to the llamas! »

« Lovely house, everything you needed was there. Great base for exploring the area. There was work being done on a new station but it didn’t influence our sleep or anything. Son was very excited about the trains passing by. Beach a short drive away or a walk. Great chip shop/ cafe and shop at the beachfront nearby. Host very helpful, we would recommend to friends. Beautiful decor, plenty of space and great for a family stay. »

Le petit déjeuner est un peu...bizarre...(self service dans le couloir), mais les chambres étant très grandes, avec des magasins très proches, on peut facilement acheter un petit déjeuner pas cher et revenir le prendre dans la chambre.
