If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. The hosts kept the house and hot tub clean/heated throughout our stay. Perfect location with lovely views of fields. Lovely little Italian about a 5 minute walk away. Short drive into Durham itself.
