Relax surrounded by endless sea, sky and green pastures with the odd passing train, ship, boat, bird or sheep and the world stretched out in front of you. This is a place to put your feet up, tune into nature and experience the best of what New Zealand has to offer. Drift in the spa at night and feel part of the milky way. Look out from the spa during the day and feel part of the ocean. If fact, you will actually see the curve of the planet. In summary, we want to share what we feel is an unplifting, unique and special place and hope that you will feel the same. Please note that I stay and manage the property from the self contained unit seen above the house in the third picture. I keep away from the main house and most guests will never see me as the unit faces away from the sea but I am available to help on request if you text me first. If you are looking for a truly kiwi experience, this is it. Special conditions: Please keep off the surrounding paddocks, particularly during lambing. We loved looking out at the views, enjoying the gardens and song birds as well of the sounds of farm life surrounding us. To top it off at breakfast one morning we saw a dolphin swim along the coastline below! We loved the design of the cottage to take in the views from every room and the created privacy with the beautiful gardens. We’ve stayed at many places around the world and this was by far one of the best experiences we have had. Glenn gives a very throughout description of sights to see around the area and not to miss spots to see. The home itself is comfortable with no detail overlooked. The experience of being there is immersive because of the stunning views, sounds of sheep in adjacent pastures and star filled sky.
