  • Welcome to Heartsong, a charming custom-designed Sea Ranch retreat nestled in the peaceful northern end of The Sea Ranch, conveniently close to The Sea Ranch Links Golf Course. Blending classic Sea Ranch character with cozy comforts, this inviting home is the perfect escape for golfers, families, couples, and anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the coast.

    Relax by the gas fireplace after a day of exploring, curl up with a favorite book in the loft window seat overlooking the ocean, or soak in the private hot tub tucked inside the fully enclosed backyard. With a light-filled kitchen, cozy library, and peaceful surroundings, Heartsong makes it easy to settle in and feel right at home.

    Recreation Passes:
    Per The Sea Ranch Association rules, we provide 2 recreation passes per rental. Each pass can accommodate up to 6 people when fully completed. If you need additional passes beyond the 2 provided, day passes are available for $5 per person, per day at the pool kiosk or the Sea Ranch Association office.

    PLEASE NOTE: After your booking is confirmed, all guests are required to complete and sign the rental agreement before arrival. Additional information and instructions will be provided after booking.

Wonderful sea ranch home!

Heartsong is one of our favorite Sea Ranch houses! The location is wonderful, decor is lovely, tons of great games, books, and puzzles, the kitchen is well appointed, and you can't beat the window seats in the loft. Being able to bring our dog with us and having a fenced yard really made it such a nice stay.

The location is great: the north end of TSR is very quiet, the nearby bluff trail to Gualala Point Park is easy and so lovely, and it's only minutes to drive into Gualala. Heartsong is cozy and comfortable, and there is a great view from every window: the ocean, the hills, the garden, and the meadow behind the house. The balcony off the loft is a wonderful place for morning coffee and evening sunsets. On this most recent stay, we saw the infamous green flash on two separate nights.Beach Rentals is The Best rental agency! The staff is friendly, always available and very accomodating. The housekeeping staff does a great job of making the houses ready for guests. Don't miss Heartsong!

Long Weekend Retreat.

If you pine for dark and quiet nights and days full of activity, kayaking, biking, or hiking the coastal and mountain trails this is the place for you. Be sure to check out the tide pools while breathing in the fresh sea breezes too. Be prepared for a slow drive up CA1, thankfully there is lots to look at as those unfamiliar navigate our hilly and curvy costal highway.

So beautifully finished inside, great size (hoping to get a little extended family gathering scheduled there), lovely fenced garden in back (great for dog and all of us to chill), great views and steps from the ocean bluff! We even love the pantry/laundry room. It’s very hard to leave.

The house is cozy and welcoming with a great loft/living area upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Hot tub in lovely enclosed courtyard. Near the bluff trail and Gualala Point Park. The only difficulty was watching the downstairs TV as it was mounted too high for viewing from the sofa and chairs and produced sore necks. Otherwise, a great getaway!

This time we had the 3 and 6 year old grandkids who slept upstairs while the adults enjoyed the downstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and hot tub enjoyed. Since it rained we didn’t go out much but felt very comfortable and cozy. The path to the shoreline path is close and you can hear and see the ocean from the upstairs balcony or the hot tub.

Spacious enough for friends and family but not too big for just the two of us. We love the proximity to the coast trails and to Gualala, check out the farmer's market on Saturdays or go hog wild on bbq from the Surf Market on the weekends. Whether we're relaxing with a glass of wine a good book upstairs in the window seat, or enjoying a soak in the hot tub after a long hike on the Stornetta Trail, Heartsong is and always will be our happy place.

Love Heartsong

I love the layout of the house and the proximity to the Bluff Trail as well as to shopping in Gualala. It’s wonderful to have an enclosed back yard for a toddler and our lab. The hot tub was not warm on our first night but a call to Beach Rentals (always so helpful and friendly) brought a service person fix it within a few hours- terrific. The house is clean and the kitchen stocked adequately with everything we needed. We will stay again next year hopefully when my grandson has a baby brother.

Reviewer Comments: Even though we picked the worst week possible to stay at Sea Ranch (rain and wind almost every day 🥴), we loved our stay at the Heartsong rental. The house was in a great location for walks and bike rides (between rain drops). The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need to make you feel right at home. The house was dog friendly and had a great little fully fenced-in yard. I think everyone’s favorite spot in the house was the loft area with the window seats - great place to watch the storms coming in! Will definitely stay at Heartsong again.

Our Home Away from Home

The house is perfect for us, clean, bright and always well maintained. And close to the trail head for long walks along the coast with our dogs Lucy & Milo. This trip we saw harbor seals, sea lions and migrating humpback whales! Make sure to check out the farmers market in Gualala on Saturday mornings for delicious local offerings. And if you’re up for a short drive the Bird Cafe in Point Arena is not to be missed! And as always, no matter when you arrive Beach Rentals makes sure that checking in and out is a breeze.

Bluffs: No Golf!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided on this rental due to location to the golf course unaware that they have shut it down! Bluff trail access is great and views from the upstairs are good. The amenities inside the house are not great given the money spent. We’ve stayed at many homes in the sea ranch and this is the worst. Small things like hand soap at the sinks, hand towels, simple cooking items like pots that don’t have scratched up teflon, salt and pepper, maybe some coffee/tea, supplying linens....otherwise it’s fine. Don’t stay here if you like to cook or if you don’t want to bring literally everything with you.

Beautiful Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located on a quiet road at the northern end of Sea Ranch, off of Leeward. We loved the enclosed yard and the hot tub was perfectly located for star having and watching the waves. The house had many thoughtful touches and had a very well-organized kitchen and storage area/pantry set up.As other reviews have mentioned, wifi is not strong throughout the entire house, best signal was in the living room area. The TV in the main living room area is awkwardly placed, up high on the wall and at an angle and there is no option for streaming, just a standard cable package. There is a dvd player upstairs but we could not find the remote for it and had to manually control the discs on the player itself. Had the weather been better and more conducive to being outside, this would have been less of an issue, however our stay was full of rainy days and more indoor time than usual. We had a few minor repair issues at the beginning of our visit and the property manager, Sea Ranch Rentals, was very responsive and fixed the issues immediately. Always a pleasure working with them!

There were so many things to love about it (location, layout) but, as reviews often do, they focus on the negative. The house was dusty and the toilets unclean. This was reported to the Management company when I left. IT is truly a great management company and I doubt that will be a problem in the future. The kitchen was stoceked really heap, dated cookware! The frying pans were old, scratched teflon, the pots were flimsy and there weren't many of them. It was challenging to cook. The furniture was also on the cheap - uncomfortable pillows, icky comforters, pillows. And 4 towel bars in one bathroom and only 1 towel bar in the master bath! In spite of these complaints, I would go back, probably with my own bedding and pots and pans. I haven't stayed at the north end of the property before and it had it's strengths - it's close to the golf course and gualala!

The gate to the garbage bins needs maintenance, it's not closing properly. We'll be back!

Heartsong is my happy place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Sea Ranch for decades. Heartsong is one of our favorite places to stay. This time we had the 3 and 6 year old grandkids who slept upstairs while the adults enjoyed the downstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and hot tub enjoyed. Since it rained we didn’t go out much but felt very comfortable and cozy. The path to the shoreline path is close and you can hear and see the ocean from the upstairs balcony or the hot tub.

Cozy house for 6 in a great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a very relaxing week at Heartsong up near the northern end of Sea Ranch. The house is cozy and welcoming with a great loft/living area upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Hot tub in lovely enclosed courtyard. Near the bluff trail and Gualala Point Park. The only difficulty was watching the downstairs TV as it was mounted too high for viewing from the sofa and chairs and produced sore necks. Otherwise, a great getaway!
