Summary: Experience coastal Northern California living at Neel Nirvana. The Space: Due to high allergic reactions, this home is NOT pet friendly. This oceanfront 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home is spacious and can accommodate up to 6 guests - making it perfect for family and friends visiting the Sea Ranch. The bluff trail is steps away and takes you on a path with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. A short car ride will take you to Gualala where there are great restaurants and local shops. Neel Nirvana is tastefully decorated with selected pieces of antique furniture and antique Persian rugs. On the first floor, glass wall panels create a sunny room to relax in. A table set and lounge chair in the sunroom face a rose garden. A washer and dryer are conveniently equipped, handy for any swimsuits. An elegant white kitchen is prepared to help the chef cook anything from tasty snacks to mouthwatering meals or head to the side patio for the propane BBQ grill. Walk up a few steps to the living room. New high-speed fiber-optic internet is installed at the home! Plush seating circles a fireplace and mounted smart TV installed with the Sling application for streaming TV options. The TV pulls off the wall to be angled as desired. A DVD player is also there for your enjoyment. Please do bring your Duraflame logs to the house for use in the fireplace. Bay window seating also offers space to recline and daydream while gazing over the blue water. We make the beds and leave out 100% cotton towels for your stay. The master bedroom upstairs is furnished with a Queen-sized bed, TV with Firestick & DVD player, and attached bathroom. Getting ready in the stunning master bathroom is tranquil with his-and-her sinks, a Jacuzzi bathtub, and shower that faces the ocean. Two other bedrooms are downstairs. The second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, and features a meadow and ocean view. The third bedroom is perfect for the kids, with 2 Twin-sized beds, a TV, and a variety of books and games - again with a meadow and ocean view. There is an additional second bathroom downstairs with a shower/tub combo for guests to share. The private back deck is a picture-perfect area to have a drink or spend time with loved ones. Reclining chairs are kept in the garage for your use. The garage also offers solar power, backup battery power walls and an electric car charger! Neel Nirvana will leave you refreshed and wishing your stay in the Sea Ranch could be even longer. The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, and three recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. The Sea Ranch facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch Association website. The trails and beaches are open. However, the house itself and amenities provided were not what we hoped for. The house had an overwhelming and very unpleasant plastic-like odor. No instruction was provided for the baseboard heating system and room temperature was hard to control. We ended up turning it off. The dishwasher malfunctioned, spewing rinse water out of the air vent onto the counter. The towels provided were flimsy and not enough were provided. Cord for one of the large bedroom window blinds was broken. Although the house has potential and the setting is beautiful, we would not rent this expensive property again. ##### Wilma R. The location is only about 100 feet from the bluff pathway/trail. The house was well-appointed, clean, and everything worked great. No big deal but had planned around that. There is a spacious wind protected deck with fabulous view, but no furniture so it can’t be used. Some cheap Adirondacks would make a huge difference in the use of this home. A table with parasol would be great too. There is a dangerous tripper in the master bedroom shower; a single step that can’t be seen until you trip the first time you use the shower. A visual warning or skid step would be a very good idea. The house has a great location, near the Del Mar recreation center, easy access to the Bluff trail. It was clean and spacious. We like to cook and while there were sufficient utensils and pots and pans to do so, basics like salt and pepper and cooking oil weren't provided. Many of the houses in Sea Ranch have hot tubs and we were disappointed to find this one didn't. Kids enjoyed the books and games provided. We could see whale activity from the house! Kitchen could be better stocked, couple of bigger pots, serving bowls would have been very helpful to our long stay. ##### Amelia S. Séjour de 17 nuits en juillet 2021 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Christina H., Emeryville, USA 2 mai 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Lovely home in my favorite area of Sea Ranch Sea Ranch is a large area, and not all houses are alike. Some of the houses have better walking paths, better views of the oceans, access to beaches, etc. I find that the more northern area of Sea Ranch is my favorite. This house is very special. It's a split level home with two bedrooms, laundry, bathroom, and large kitchen on one level. Living room in the middle area. Large bedroom with a queen bed and HUGE bathroom on the upper level. There is another room off the dining room which is great for midday sun. The only negative is the room gets VERY warm and there is no screen on the sliding glass door. Nearly all the rooms have a fantastic view of the ocean. The house also features an unobstructed sunset view. This house is great but younger kids would probably get bored. There is a smallish TV in the living room. The tv's in the other rooms are too old to connect Chromecasts/streaming devices or newer HDMI devices. WIFI also doesn't reach all the rooms in the house. However, if you love the outdoors, bring your bikes, and good walking shoes. We saw LOTS of deer, coyotes, osprey, and other predator birds like turkey vultures. The negatives: Big negative was lack of communication from the property management company. We arrived to the property around 5pm. The next morning, around 10am I got an email that said some trash (not ours) was all over the front of the house and across the street. We were told if we didn't throw out the trash, we would be fined. I contacted the company multiple times to advise that a. it wasn't ours BUT b. if we did need to pick it up, we would need gloves, bags, and at least anti-bacterial soap. We ended up going into town after not hearing anything from the property management company and got hand soup (since there is only cheap hotel hand soup at the house), and gloves to pick up the garbage. We went to go out and pick up the garbage and one of the managers from the company were out picking things up. Appreciated, but I was afraid to go and do anything, basically making the day ruined. Additional negatives/suggestions: there are no blinds on one window in the bathroom upstairs, and downstairs in the bathroom. If you are a lady, and showering, you will be seen by the neighbors. Especially at night. I spoke with the property manager lady, so I hope they get it fixed. The house also has ants (common for sea ranch) so be careful leaving out foot on the counter. ##### Christina H.
