Restored old flour mill converted into a rural house for vacation tourism, located in Sayalonga, in the province of Málaga, Andalucía.
The mill was built on the ruins of a Moorish construction burned in 1572 by its owners during the conquest period.
The result of the restoration is this rural house whose walls convey confidence due to their resilience over time, while ensuring protection against weather extremes. The rustic decoration stands out, harmonizing with the surroundings while showing respect for the past through the preservation of traditional elements.
The generous space makes it ideal for accommodating large groups of family and friends. Right next to it, there is another rural house with 20 additional spots, which can be combined with this one for groups of up to 40 people.
The house comprises ten bedrooms, eight of which have two single beds each, and two bedrooms with one double bed each. There are two bathrooms with bathtubs and three with walk-in showers. The kitchen is equipped for all the guests, with a freezer, microwave, oven, burner with paella pan, etc. Spacious living rooms with a fireplace. The dining room features an extensive table so that all guests can eat at the same time and enjoy lively after-dinner conversations. Each bedroom has an electric radiator, the use of which incurs an additional cost. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom and is fully adapted for wheelchair users.
The privileged exterior is graced by the passage of the Sayalonga River, with the accompanying vegetation and fauna courteously offering themselves as your hosts during these vacation days... What good company...!!!
For leisure moments, you will find a basketball court, swimming pool, and barbecue on the terraces. The access road is paved, except for 1.5 km which is a dirt track.
For large group reservations, please note that access to the house is only possible via vans with a maximum of 9 people, as it is located beyond a bridge that complicates bus maneuvers.
