"The villa has wonderful views across the valley. The outside space is beautiful with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The large pool was amazing even though maybe not as deep as some guests would like. The villa is very well appointed with air conditioning throughout which is a blessing in the hot climate. "This is my second stay at this amazing villa..Clean and tidy and communication with the host was fabulous…Beautiful location and with out a shadow of a doubt I will return..Coffee and wine and essentials were on site when I arrived…Full fruit bowl as well as allowed to help myself to fresh lemons off the tree in the little orchard..Thank you for an amazing holiday.Enjoyed my swim every morning before breakfast in the pool."

"Our family, ages ranging from 6-69, found this house in Competa to be just perfect. There were so many nice spots on the property to eat and sit…when it was cold we had a fire, when warm we sat outside in a variety of places. Our son is a chef so we had memorable meals from the kitchen, both indoor and out. Rafa was extremely attentive, though we had no problems. The view, the village, the hiking was good for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended."

"Pros: Het huis had een serre met een grote glazen pui waardoor je met de frissere avonden toch van een prachtig uitzicht kon genieten. Dit was echt een grote meerwaarde voor onze vakantie in april/mei. Vanaf 19.30u was het namelijk te fris om buiten te blijven. Cons: Om bij het zwembad te komen moest je via een mooie trap langs prachtige bloemen naar beneden. Met kleine kinderen of oudere mensen dus niet ideaal. Onze babyfoon redde het dan ook niet naar het zwembad toe."

"It is very well placed location wise. It was clean and serviceable but not fancy."

"The Bajamar is an excellent hotel, positioned in quiet place within an easy walk to the centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism is that the attached cafe and bar closes at 3pm in late September until the end of the session. So you aren't able to take a drink up to your room as you prepare to go out in the evening. Other options are nearby but it would nice to go downstairs and take a coffee or beer back to your room. "Fabulous very clean hotel, with great staff. Hotel is very new, absolutely spotless clean, very quiet and peaceful. Pool area spotless also, you nearly had the pool to your yourself, lovely to unwind. One minute walk to busy streets with lots of bars & restaurants. Few minutes walk to beaches. All staff very attentive and friendly. Very well run hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel on our return trip to Nerja"

"all staff very friendly and helpful, cleaner did excellent job along with towels changed regularly, panoramic view of nerja and surrounding areas from rooftop terrace, excellent location, air conditioning excellent, extremely comfortable double bed, if you ask at reception they are very happy to provide a loan of a iron, no sunshades provided for loungers on terrace, toaster was a disaster as there was no settings on it and had to stand by it and remove toast when it was toasted (on first use toast was burned to a crisp) it would have been appreciated to have two sets of keys to enable us to occasionally go out separately for whatever reason."

"We had an excellent stay at this family run hotel. The breakfast was basic however it met our needs as we don’t eat much back home at breakfast time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site and we had a wonderful meal in very nice surroundings. Beware you need to book ahead for the restaurant."
