The air conditioning worked well and the location was brilliant - right in the action but tucked away so it was away from the noise. I don’t know why someone reviewed the hotel as having no reception - the reception was open early morning til late at night. Everything was fine. The pool was cool and clean and a great place for a dip between outings . The manager brought my husband breakfast while he worked at an outdoor table. A great overall experience. The area was walkable to the main square and areas with great sunset views. The hotel itself was basic, but comfortable. The staff was very nice, and I liked that they offered transportation to the Ferry Port (for an additional fee) so I didn't have to worry about arranging that myself. They also had a nice breakfast included! The pool area was small, with not much shade, but luckily it wasn't crowded and was still enjoyable. There are lots of stairs here, so just be aware if you don't do well with stairs. It was fine for me. After 2 weeks in Greece, this was our last stop and the best stay we had been in (within that price range). The room was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent (in the heart of Thira). Organised transport for me from the hotel to the airport, although 30 euros for a 10 minute drive is quite a bit, but had no choice since I was catching an early morning flight. The location of the hotel is incorrect on Google and Apple maps, but also on the listing itself.
