This is your chance to escape. A recently renovated and tastefully decorated home awaits you. Come here for a day, a week, as long as you need or want to. Untether from your schedule, routines, devices, and all that may be holding you back. Whether you want to indulge in a robust wine country adventure, explore the beauty of Northern California, or escape for a family holiday, this house provides all that you need to enjoy a “Wine Country Escape!” As you walk from your car to the front door, you’ll most likely notice the swing hanging from the beautiful tree in the yard. Kids love the swing, and adults love that it makes them feel like a kid. This swing is symbolic of the good times in store. Step into the open floor plan and you will immediately appreciate the striking contrasts of the wood flooring against the white walls throughout the floorplan. Furniture and furnishings stand out in an array of colors from dark wood tables to a vibrant blue upholstered sofa. The LIVING ROOM is arranged around a large window providing a vista of the backyard (we’ll get to the cool-as-heck backyard in a minute). A 55” TV is mounted above the fireplace (Netflix, DISNEY+ & Roku). A work desk with a chair is on the other side of the room. Relax and enjoy the view, watch a show, or get some business done. This room is set up for any, or all of that. A sturdy six-person DINING ROOM table separates the living room from the kitchen. A wine fridge can be used to store bottles you happen to acquire during your wine country travels. The KITCHEN is equipped with stainless steel appliances and every amenity you will need to feed yourself or your troops. A coffee maker, pots & pans, a spice rack, sharp knives, and more. Eat inside or out, the choice is yours. Each of the three bedrooms is carpeted, has loads of dresser/closet space, large windows to let the sun in if you want, and vertical blinds to keep the room dark while you sleep. BEDROOM #1 has a king bed. BEDROOM #2 and BEDROOM #3 have queen beds. Each bed is dressed with comfortable linens and pillows. Now, the BACKYARD! A covered patio, an un-covered patio, string lights, an outdoor dining table, a sofa, Adirondack chairs, and a nice green lawn are all enclosed by a high fence to ensure your privacy. They had everything we needed to our two- and five-year-olds, including a pack n play, high chair, kid dishes, cutlery, etc. It was terrific to have an open kitchen and large table for our family. The kids especially loved the rocks in the backyard for endless rock hunting! Our only challenge was not having air conditioning in the bedrooms during our little one’s nap time, but the host provides several fans for use. ##### Sarah R. It had plenty of space to make and store flowers, decorations and favors. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well outfitted and the entire home is very clean. The location was perfect for our needs - walking distance to a great grocery store and restaurants, a very safe and walkable neighborhood (the neighborhood flower gardens were amazing!), and halfway to Sebastopol. The house was great. Lots of room for the three of us and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfy, lots of bath towels and plenty of hot water. We enjoyed wine on the patio in the afternoons and coffee in the sunny living room in the mornings. We look forward to our next stay here in Santa Rosa! ##### Kathy M. The outdoor spaces were very nice, though we did not use them as it was cold. House is very kid friendly (and safe). The bottle of wine as a welcome gift was very nice gesture, most appreciated. Other comments: The master bathroom had no door; that's ... novel. With the thermostat being in the living area, the bedrooms were very very toasty. It was perfect. It was so clean and inviting. It had all the conveniences of home, well stocked with all the appliances and kitchen wear one might need. We ended up not bringing our dog but it would have been perfect with a nice backyard. The location was amazing, in a nice quiet neighborhood but close to town and walking distance to the gourmet market. Thank you for everything!!! ##### Claudia I.
