The spacious kitchen has a raised granite counter that seats 4, a farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances, and lots of space to prepare meals and stash snacks. Things we found and reported were filthy floors, roaches, and the ice maker didn't work. The management company placed roach baits, cleaned the floors, and tried twice to fix the ice maker but were unsuccessful. They did provide ice upon request except our final day when we asked for ice, but they didn't show up. We called back and were told they were getting ready to leave for the day and we could buy ice and submit the receipt for reimbursement. This was quite an inconvenience. We found the 3 bikes which we had paid for as part of the rental were rusted up and one had flat tires. All of these things should have been addressed prior to our arrival especially considering the amount we paid to stay there. Other suggestions are better window coverings in the front bedroom to block the outside building lighting. Another towel rack in that room's bathroom. There is a hook over the door but when anything is hung on it, the door won't close properly. Rugs on both sides of the bed to wipe your feet before getting into bed would be nice. Several blankets in a basket in the family room badly need laundering. The door on the dispenser of the dishwasher doesn't open during the cycle which caused us to rerun the load and manually open the dispenser during the wash. A non-slip surface and a grab bar in the master shower would be wise. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped except lacking a pitcher. Improvements needed. ##### Patricia P.
