I was quite nervous about staying here after some of the reviews I read, but the hotel worked out well.
BREAKFAST was decent, they seem to cook different things each day, but I just asked for (and happily got) eggs, with fruit and coffee/juice.
A/C worked great.
Location is a short walk from the beach, but it's not a nice beach anyway; you'll want to take a cab elsewhere. Location is better for being closer to a grocery store and some walking streets.
Staff were pretty helpful when we needed it.
Cons:
Room at the north end of the third floor was a bit noisy at night due to the restaurant/bar downstairs, and is probably worse on weekends. Quite bright, too, since the black curtains don't successfully move over the white ones.
Weight room has one useful piece of equipment (multi-use band machine), but otherwise I can't imagine you'd actually want to do cardio here. One cardio item was explicitly "out of service," and the treadmill didn't seem to work, which left the bike, and I didn't bother trying that. Plus it's not air conditioned in there, so you're better off running outside early in the morning.
Good hotel, but it's an unremarkable town - why are you here anyway?
