The staff was very helpful. We arrived before check-in time and they found a room for us. We were there for a funeral and so we’re grateful to have a place to change our clothes. The room is basic with old furniture, but the bed was comfortable. It is an older motel, and the sound insulation was not very good. I could hear the people in the room above me moving about. The shower in the room above me leaked and came down through the light fixture in the bathroom onto my bathroom floor.

The room was very clean. Shower pressure was decent. Air conditioning was not as cold as it should have been. Checking in went well. Only one bad thing was that the blanket on the bed smelled like pee. :(

recently stayed at the villa motel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with fresh linens and all the essentials provided.

We come to Santa Maria often and try new hotels/motels in the area to see which offer the best value. We were pleasantly surprised with the room we received. Clean, neat, and everything worked. Housekeeping came daily, and the location was near so many things. There's even a nice Mexican restaurant right next to the motel. The only complaints we had was the limited parking during our stay and the water pressure for the shower. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Kudos to the young man who handled our check-in, very professional and friendly.

I was a little leary about staying here because of all the bad reviews. I was suprised. The hotel was conviently located to what we were doing (by the fairplex). It was clean, saw no spider, insects etc. The beds were pretty comfy. The showers were roomy. The staff at the front counter were pleasant and very quick at check in. I would stay here again for the event i will be attending next year. There was ample parking.

We stayed in Santa Maria because the price was much more affordable than staying in Pismo, and since it was only about a 20–25 minute drive away, it worked perfectly for us since we mainly just needed a place to sleep. From the outside, the hotel looked a little rough, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much. However, once we checked in, the experience was surprisingly great. The front desk staff was friendly, check-in was quick, and the room was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the refrigerator worked really well, and everything felt well kept with no noticeable stains or issues. Overall, it ended up being a very enjoyable and comfortable stay for the price.
