The best time to go to Santa Croce is during the shoulder seasons of April to May and September to October. These months offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds than the peak summer period.

During April and May, the weather is mild and comfortable, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C. This is an excellent time for exploring the town's historic sites and enjoying outdoor activities like walking around the lake. You'll find the local gardens and hillsides in full bloom, adding to the scenery.

September and October also provide lovely weather, with average temperatures between 18°C and 23°C. The summer crowds have thinned out, making it easier to visit popular spots without feeling rushed.
