The best time to go to San Vero Milis is from late May to early July, or throughout September, to enjoy the best weather for outdoor activities and fewer crowds.During these months, the weather is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ideal for relaxing on the beaches, exploring the Sinis Peninsula, or enjoying water sports. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming, but without the intense heat and larger crowds of August. These periods offer a more relaxed experience, making it easier to secure tables at popular restaurants and find quieter spots on the often-stunning local beaches like Is Arutas or Mari Ermi, known for their quartz sand.Couples looking for a romantic escape will particularly appreciate these shoulder seasons. The tranquil evenings are superb for enjoying al fresco dining at a local agriturismo or taking a leisurely stroll along the coast as the sun sets. The slightly cooler temperatures compared to mid-summer also make exploring the ancient ruins of Tharros or the charming town of Oristano more comfortable.Families travelling with younger children will also find these times ideal. The beaches are less crowded, providing more space for children to play freely, and the milder temperatures are more agreeable for little ones who might struggle with the peak summer heat.
