"We had a great stay at Marquis Los Cabos. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the beachfront setting was beautiful. Falling asleep and waking to the sound of the waves each day was incredibly relaxing. While the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t swimmable, calmer water is only about a 10-minute (beach) walk away.
The resort is well maintained, and the infinity pools overlooking the ocean were the highlight of our trip. We happily spent hours each day moving between the pool and our cabana. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly adequate, though not particularly memorable, which I typically expect at resorts anyway.
Our only real disappointment was the food. We chose Marquis because it advertises its ability to accommodate dietary requirements, but despite being asked about our restrictions several times, the options were often quite limited. We managed, but had we known this beforehand, we likely would have chosen a resort with more buffet dining. We did appreciate that everything was clearly labelled.
Our only other suggestion would be to provide more information at check-in. We often weren’t sure what activities were available, where facilities were located, or how things worked around the resort. Overall, though, we had a relaxing holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
