It is truly a jungle paradise! The property is located on a huge piece of land overlooking the river, exceptionally well maintained, with exotic flowers everywhere, the peaceful views on the river with nothing but the birds as background, the hiking trails, everything is just wonderful! The room was very nice, rustic, and cool, with the fireplace as a very nice touch - it was a bit chilly in the evenings and we really enjoyed lighting the fire :). They also have a vegetable and fruit garden, which they use for the restaurant meals. The food was great - they have a Dinner special menu that's different every night and it was very good! And also very reasonably priced. But most of all, it is truly the people that made the stay exceptional, everyone, from the reception to the gardener to the restaurant and bar staff to the random worker we'd meet while exploring the property grounds were just so nice and kind! All in all, it exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay between adventures in the area. ##### Marina Stayed 4 nights in Jan 2026 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Sarah Dec 7, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities We had a 12/10 experience!! The grounds are absolutely incredible of this resort. The accommodations are gorgeous (we stayed in a room with a small plunge pool and would highly recommend). The staff are so attentive and lovely - particularly Florita as our server encouraging us to try new foods ... All grown on site if you can believe it!! We did a few tours with Mystic River as well and had two amazing experiences with Leslie. His passion for bird watching was contagious! The food ... Incredible. Every meal was delicious. You must visit the onsite garden - I couldn't believe my eyes the variety of fruit and vegetables they were growing. I'm not sure I can say enough amazing things about this place. Coffee in the most beautiful place watching toucans fly tree to tree?? A dream.
