Welcome to Mission Beach. We are steps away from the beach, Bayside, Belmont Park, Starbucks & restaurants. Relax and enjoy the front patio with a Spa, fire pit and the spacious amazing exclusive rooftop with comfortable seating. Watch the sunsets in the evenings or soak in the sunshine during the daytime. Townhouse (DUPLEX=2 units) built in May 2017 - 9 houses (2 -3 minute walk) from the ocean front & close to the Bay. NOTE: You would be occupying the bottom unit with the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The upstairs unit is also a vacation rental. There are no shared spaces with separate entrances. Both units have 3 bedrooms each and can be rented together if needed. This truly is a family-friendly vacation destination. Host/owner lives close by..
This is a duplex (2 units) and you will be occupying the bottom unit, so you would have access to the downstairs patio with fire pit and the rooftop. No space is shared with the other unit. Both units have 3 bedrooms each. This home features an open floor plan with modern design. As you enter the house you have the kitchen which is well appointed with quartz counter tops & high end stainless steel appliances, equipped with full kitchenware. There are bar stools around kitchen counter, and additional seating with a fire pit table on the patio with a BBQ. The living room offers full seating, TV (You tube TV) and you can access other streaming services with your account. Features include custom hard wood flooring upstairs, recessed lighting and opens up to the patio. 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor and 3rd bedroom on 3rd floor.
BEDROOMS: 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor and 3rd master bedroom on 3rd floor. SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS Master bedroom: king (sleeps 2) Bedroom 2: queen (sleeps 2) Bedroom 3: (1) full & (1) twin
LAUNDRY: There is a front load washer & dryer.
PARKING: Tandem Parking for 2 covered/enclosed carport which can accommodate 2 vehicles. Over sized vehicles will have problems parking. Parking suitable for smaller vehicles. Mission Beach alleys are narrow.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests have separate entrance to the unit, separate rooftop access with covered carport parking for 2 cars.
LOCATION “Beach side” of Mission blvd, minutes to the Ocean & the Bay. Conveniently located close to famous Belmont Park, which offers the Roller Coaster, rides, food, games, & endless entertainment. This place is one street behind the restaurants. Walk to Mission Beach Aquatic Center that offers sailing, kayaking, surf lessons, & much more. And just minutes to the world famous Sea World.
Other things to note
- Cleaning supplies included (toilet paper, paper towels, dish & hand soaps, trash bags); anything else is guest’s responsibility
- We have a few beach chairs & sand toys
- Maximum occupancy is 6 (This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count ) Extra guests not allowed.

What a great spot!!! Perfect location and lovely home. The alley we were in was VERY busy but we enjoyed it. We loved the porch and hot tub, but never used the rooftop as we expected to. I think the kitchen could use more cooking ware and glass options. We will be back!

We loved it was within walking distance of the beach. After all the walking we did the hot tub was a nice touch. It was clean and had everything we needed. The roof top was great to watch fireworks or the sunsets nightly. We would stay again.

We stayed here for 12 days and it was perfect. Great location…rooftop views don’t disappoint..spa was lovely… few steps to the boardwalk and lots of food and shopping and entertainment options. Austin was great to work with. Kitchen has most amenities you need to cook meals.. we would stay here again!

We had a fine stay, but just can’t give 4 stars for a variety of reasons. The rating doesn’t allow for a .5 rating, or we would have given a 3.5. The location was a 5 star for sure. The house is not terrible, or excellent, a little above average.

Family Spring Break
We stayed for 3 nights with our 3 kids (7, 10, 12) for part of our Spring Break trip. Such a cute block with incredibly easy beach access. The unit was spacious, with 2 outdoor areas available to use. The new hot tub was a very welcome addition to the property. The rooms were accurately represented in photos. Kids rooms are on their own floor with one bathroom, primary suite on the top floor with it's own bathroom, and living/main patio on the ground level. Overall this property felt like a great value for our family.

Love this place!
We absolutely loved this property. Location comfort and communication. I can't say enough how great it was. We had everything we needed to go sit on the beach and just enjoy ourselves. Chairs towels umbrella. There's a Starbucks basically across the street, a convenience store and a souvenir shop and pleasant other restaurants and shops all right around the corner. And the addition of a hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of adventures. Austin we great responsive and super down to earth. When we make our way back we would stay in this property again for sure or anything hosted by Austin.

Location is right off the beach and right in mission beach! So that is a plus. A couple draw backs for my family is pulling down the secluded trash alley to even get to the unit to then if the other side is rented out it’s no easy take maneuvering in and out even with a smaller vehicle. That was one thing that frustrating is it’s not mentioned about needing a smaller vehicle for the carport until after you already rent and only by Vrbo notification with check in details 48 hours before. In which I had already booked the vehicle for my family. We didn’t use the hot tub, one factor was it was dirty to then time. Unit itself, owner did great at providing basic amenities other than towels. We had a party of 6 and that’s the exact amount of towels we had for showering. No one wants to go in a vacation and do laundry several times a day to have clean necessities. The unit is nice however is in need of a deep cleaning and some air fresheners. I know it’s a beach house but it smelled of water or sewer. Gnats were flying everywhere upon arrival which I assume has to do with the plumbing and sitting water in the lines. Owner seemed nice. With some tweaks and deep cleaning I may consider renting again even with the New York alley way.

Loved the close proximity to many activities.
Beautiful place, island court is a beautiful walkway to the beach. Be prepared to put up with the dumpsters, early morning dumpster trucks, and homeless people in the alley access to parking.

Summer Fun!
The house has two great patios (first floor fire pit) makes for great evenings and the (third floor) views are spectacular. The fireworks at Sea World and the sunsets and the ocean from the deck make for unbeatable happy hours. The third deck does need to replace a table (broken) created a small concern. Are their issues a few but there seems to be at every property. Are there some homeless concerns. There are some homeless people nearby but they never created any issues. The second level unit you can hear the people upstairs but not much to be concerned about. After all it is San Diego and it will be perfect if you want it to be.
I would recommend this property and we would book the property again. Overall a great experience.

Great getaway for the family!
This duplex is spacious, clean, well stocked, and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Close to shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park. Good location for walking, riding bikes, and sitting on the beach. The view from the roof was awesome. Our family had a great vacation and really enjoyed our time here. Would stay here again.
