Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Chambless Riviera Villa in Pacific Beach. This lovely condo features a breathtaking 180 degree unobstructed, panoramic view of beautiful Sail Bay! The almost floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows and sliding glass door in the living room lead out to the balcony, with a table and chairs for enjoying the view. Unwind in front of the gas fireplace after a day of exploring San Diego. The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room has a queen Murphy bed. The kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, cherrywood cabinets, and travertine tile, has everything you need for dining in. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with double vanity sinks. There is a coin operated laundry room about 30 feet down the hall. The Riviera Villas are situated on the quieter East side of beautiful Sail Bay (the loveliest part of Mission Bay)! You will have a magnificent view of the sunsets with the activities of the bay in the foreground; kite-boarders, sailboats, water skiers, catamarans, etc. Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area with its fine dining, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld, and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo. So, you can have it all! Enjoy your coffee on your private balcony as you watch the boardwalk come alive. Right below, people are on the boardwalk riding bikes, skating, jogging, and just strolling at leisure. Take a stroll or ride our two provided beach cruiser bikes around the bay and if you like, cross over to Mission Beach with its wide boardwalk to watch the surfers or catch a glimpse of the green flash at sunset. Arrival/Departure Policy: Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm) Check out time is 11 am. Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call! Nightly Minimum Policy: 2-4 night minimum required in the off season. ☀️ Holidays: 5 night minimum. There are no arrivals on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. ☀️ Summer 2025 Policy: Memorial Day - Labor Day, 5 night minimum. No arrivals on Independence Day (July 4). Last Minute Booking Policy: If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc. This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. The staff made sure we were we were well taken care of. It was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a fireplace, which we used almost every chilly evening. We loved our morning walks and sunsets on the balcony. The property was very clean and in good shape. It had everything my wife and I needed for a week stay, including a jigsaw puzzle and games for a rainy day! The location was close to everything we planned on visiting. The neighborhood was quiet. A few things to note: be prepped for crowds. The fourth was crazy. The fireworks went well into the night as did the neighbors karaoke. It was fun for us, but it could be overwhelming if you have young children or a sensory processing disorder. Balcony over beach / walking path was a nice feature, too bad it wasn't a little bigger. Loved the availabulity of the bikes and beach items. All the codes for parking, elevator, entry door, bikes, beach items were a bit overwhelming and the cable tv was trial and error...but with that view, who is there to watch tv anyhow? ##### ERIC N. Here are the areas for improvement. The lighting in the bedroom was poor; suggest replacing the ceiling fan with one with lights. The unit has no heating. I could not find a thermostat. We used a radient heater from the closet and the fireplace for heat. The patio light is out. The maintenance of the building is substandard and not completely safe.
