Everything you need : 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with each their own bathroom - ocean view, living room with AC , flat screen smart TV , a large bright fully equipped modern kitchen, barbecue, plus a beautiful 40-foot lap pool with sun chairs. The location is outstanding: 150 feet above sea level and an easy 4-minute walk to beautiful Playa Samara and center. Situated on the only small hillside within the center of Samara Beach, The Villa is the perfect spot to enjoy panoramic ocean views. Double-wide glass doors open up, connecting the kitchen, living room/dining room to the patio and pool area. Suntan on poolside lounge chairs or relax under the covered patio. The open kitchen – modern and conveniently functional. It is bright and inviting, with a large granite kitchen island, a 4 burner electric stove top, full length Italian granite countertops, and all stainless steel appliances. The view of Samara beach, the protective reefs that appear and disappear with the tide. Screened windows from each room give you a bird s eye view into the surrounding hillsides where you can watch flocks of parakeets, families of monkeys swinging through the trees, kayakers heading to Isla Chora, or fishing boats headed out to sea. Throughout the house, sober colors and modern materials create a very comfortable, relaxed feeling, while elegant architectural features like the glass entrance door and 13-foot 3D effect ceilings make it super-modern and sophisticated. Windows give the house a bright, open feeling. The master bedroom is very spacious. It has a king-size bed, remote control air-conditioning, reading lamps, tons of storage and closet space, and a very large en-suite bathroom. From your bed, just open up the sliding glass doors and enjoy huge panoramic ocean views.The en-suite bathroom has a large glassed-in tile shower/tub. To make the very most of the gorgeous ocean view, the front of the house are made up mostly of very large windows. On the back side of the houses, the view of the dense green hillside is equally spectacular, covering many acres. The villas are an easy 4-minute walk to Samara beach. just walk down our concrete road for about 100 meters, cross the street, and then walk 100 meters along a wide, shaded path, and you are at the entrance to the beach! We didn’t actually stay at this property. We stayed at the one next door which appeared to be an upgrade so I’d highly recommend booking that property. The bedrooms were all nicely maintained and we found the kitchen pretty well equipped. We had a small plumbing issue that was corrected within just a few hours. The property manager was very responsive to all our requests and needs. There was someone to clean the pool every morning and the landscapers were quiet and respectful. We really liked the short walk into town but also having privacy. The houses are gated and there is a steeper walk up the driveway but you aren’t going to get that kind of privacy without a little uphill walk in samara. Irs worth it, trust me. We will define recommend the place to friends and hope to be back soon! ##### Michelle L. First of all there was mold on the outside of the house and the strong smell of mold on the inside. We had issues with the water being off for over 24 hours and the manager did not try and help us or bring us potable water which should be expected for a property of this price. The AC was broken for most of the time in one of the bedrooms. Was not fixed until the last day. The walk to town is down a steep hill which would not be a problem, except when it rains it is dangerously slippery. The view is nice and the pool in fine except for the resident bats the hover at night. Overall I would say that this property is not worth it. The owner did give us discount for the inconvenience of the water shut off which was appreciated. ##### Lauren D. It's modern & clean, has a master suite with two additional bedroom suites, plus a great central living area (living room, kitchen, outside and inside eating areas. The pool is the perfect size and temperature. From out back you can see the ocean (the southern end of Samara's beach), and more importantly hear the waves clearly. But you're up in the mountains and will see wildlife and hear howler monkeys. The walk to town is literally 5 minutes, you couldn't get any closer and also have the respite of privacy and wilderness.
