"The location and the rental itself are quite stunning. Peaceful walks through conveniently located mountain trails in the morning to quiet nights nearly void of light pollution; great stargazing opportunities! Include that with the brand new interior and you feel like you're living in luxury. The bed is huge and very comfy, the shower is amazing with great water pressure and plenty of warm (or cold) water for you to unwind in. But surely the most comforting part of all was how kind the owners...

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."
