We were using public transportation, so it's easy to get from the train station to the hotel using the metro. Then, you can walk to a nice little mall, a great trattoria and pizzeria, and the salernitana stadium.

This property is terrific. I saw some negative reviews and can’t believe that they were talking about the same property. Room was excellent and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was the most convenient that we encountered during our entire trip in Italy.

This property needs full renovation ... Looks way better in pictures .. Staff in restaurant was pleasant .. Front desk girl at check in was not very welcoming. She made me feel like "check in and leave me alone "

Solamente disconforme porque la piscina estuvo cerrada los dos días que estuvimos hospedados. El hotel nos dijo que era por problemas meteorologicos pero el 30 agosto habia sol y no llovio en todo el dia. Me parecio una excusa ya q no habia ningun riesgo meteorologico. Solo un poco de viento pero mucho sol y ninguna nube. El resto estubo todo perfecto hotel limpio desayuno muy bueno personal profesional y restaurante con menu razonable

I was not informed about inserting the key card in a special socket in order to activate the lights in the room. In order to use the elevator you needed to insert the key and was not very easy to use or responsive. Breakfast was included and it was good. I will stay again.

Great Hotel
This hotel is a great find. The staff are all lovely, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are very good. We had 3 rooms and not a problem with any of them. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station which runs from the main train station to the football stadium, you can buy tickets outside any stop or at a post office. The other big attraction is Pizzeria Salernitana, the local restaurant around the corner. You don’t need to eat anywhere else, it is a proper Italian restaurant that caters for the locals, the food, value and service is the best I’ve experienced in Italy. The owner went out of his way to be helpful and even made our Dad a meal not on the menu as he had the ingredients and it was Dads favourite growing up in Salerno.

Disappointed- lots of extras. You need a bathing cap to use the pool. Which will cost you 2 euros. Windows and elevator glass dirty. One side of hotel faces a garbage area - highly visible. No complimentary products like the other hotels Shampoo - etc. black mold in bathroom tile area.

Good for a night’s stay.
Clean hotel. Nothing fancy but it served its purpose. Quiet, which was important. Bed was too firm. Just gave a thin sheet. Pool was great to use but not enough space to sit. Plenty of parking. Safe area. Did not eat in restaurant.

Hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Restaurant on site was nice. Not fancy but decent food at a reasonable cost. It was very close to the public beaches. The walk there isn’t pretty and there’s not a lot of food nearby. It is not close to the sites and activities but cabs are readily available and it’s an easy drive. If you’re driving down the coast double the time estimate given on your map app

Brilliant hotel, highly recommend
Fantastic hotel, only a few metres from a metro stop with a regular service into the centre. This is a fabulous base for exploring the area. Highly recommended.

The building was very modern and new. The pool was amazing and the lifeguard was very dedicated to cleaning the it. A negative point is that the location was very impractical because it was very far away from the center of Salerno. A tip to get from the center of Salerno back to the hotel is to take bus number 5 and it will take you under ten minutes to walk back to the hotel.

Ok stay in Novotel
Overall we had nice stay, pool was nice with the kids, room was ok size and clean and the service was friendly. Some of the common areas, like toilets and showers downstairs were very dirty though, did not give good impression how the hotel is kept. Also for the price could have breakfast included. We stayed few nights, and had ok stay.

Property was nice but a bit away from the City. Providing a Hotel shuttle to tourists can be a good idea. Team was very helpful and stay was great. If the hotel can provide on-site laundromat that will be helpful to families on long trips.

The property was newer and clean, not much around the hotel or within walking distance except you can walk across the road to the beach. If you want to go into Salerno you will have to cab it. Nice pool and the food was good.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rate was very reasonable. The hotel is a little ways outside the city but accessible by bus if you don’t have a car. The hotel itself is a little old and some of the interior components are broken and need repair. The bed appeared clean but I got bit by a few ants during my one night stay there. Can definitely be cleaned up some but desk staff are very nice

Beautiful property and pool, nice staff. Wish the gym had free weights, and conditioner along with the shampoo since my luggage did not arrive for 5 days due to Iberia. Great place, will stay there again if I can come back!

Clean, modern hotel with location near the water in Salerno. Was traveling with family so we had 2 rooms. Had an A/C issue with one room that took a couple of hours and a few trips down to the main desk to get resolved. The on-site restaurant was excellent! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Only stayed 1 night on our way back to Rome. Would stay there again if we return to Salerno.
