This was an exceptional place. We stayed there for 3 nights. Extremely well located, we were facing the Plaza Mayor which was wonderful. Place is safe, staff is wonderful. Javier made sure we were all set at our arrival. They clean your room before 1pm which is amazing. Definitely a big 5/5 for us. Great value

We absolutely loved our time at Hotel Rector. We actually wish we booked more nights here as Salamanca is stunning and the service and attention of hotel staff is honestly the best we’ve ever had! We even noticed after we continued our vacation by car that they had cleaned our windshield! Great staff, great location, and great hotel!

Other than the the fact that the rooms are a bit small, I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Even the size of the room was not a problem due to the efficient design of the rooms. We were able save money, not only because of the great price, but also because of the full, apartment-like amenities that allowed for some meals in the room or in the terrace. We also saved time by being so close to all the sites. There is a wonderful market three blocks away where you can buy...

Everything was perfect, central location right next to Plaza Mayor, walkable to all major attractions. Only thing I don't like is the late 4pm check in time.

Magnifique hôtel parfaitement situé au cœur de Salamanca, parfait pour visiter la ville, tout est à distance de marche, plein de restaurants. Déjeuner très bon, chambres impeccables, très propre et beau.

Great hotel close to the Gran Via and walkable to everything we wanted to see. The room was spacious and clean.

Great place

Very clean, and great location with shops restaurants and sites nearby. Modern interior.

This is a beautiful upscale boutique style hotel in a very central location. Great decor. Breakfast is a unique gastronomical experience, hence the name. Michelin star-type quality and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers going to Salamanca!

Very clean property. Simple and detailed instructions for entry. Flexible check-in allowing us 45mins earlier. No elevator. But minimal stairs. Beautiful building. Central to everything. Very walkable. Host was responsive. Room is clean. All the amenities you could need. No AC in May, but had a ceiling fan so we were able to keep cool. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Old historical building in excellent way of preservation with greater modern accommodation.

Room was very clean and tidy. Parking was close by and was the cheapest we’ve paid in our travels so far!! Would definitely stay here again.

Ideal location just a few steps from the main square, close to restaurants, the university and to shopping. Excellent service, powerful AC for those 36C days. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful with healthy options. There is also a small grocery store, pharmacy one minute walk away, abs we loved visiting “Fresas y Chocolate” (chocolate dipped strawberries) across the street for an amazing fresh treat every day. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

We toured northern Spain and stayed at 6 properties. When we pulled into the Parador, I thought I had made a mistake. I tend to be frugal and couldn't believe I got this good a value for the money. A huge relief for us by this time was to simply park the car securely in a large hotel lot. Beware of what other properties call 'parking included'. The million dollar view comes with your stay. It' s a nice walk to the inner city but far enough to be away from any noise.

Older property but well maintained and clean room. Best to message property in advance to arrange a check in time. Walking distance to the historic city centre of Salamanca.
