Sala Comacina
6.0 out of 10, (2 reviews)
"DON'T STAY HERE: The good: view was great and unit was clean The bad: 1) the listing references the "charming village of Sala Comacina" THERE IS NO VILLAGE OR TOWN. There is nothing to see or do. Sala Comacina is a bus stop/ferry stop, with one nice small hotel, two average restaurants that are not always open and one small store that sells not even the most basic grocery needs. It is dangerous to walk from the unit to town because the road is so narrow and busy that you literally have to hug...

"Our family of 3 had a great time staying at the property. The only issue was the Wi-Fi, it was very weak and dropped constantly. Besides that, other things were nice. It’s close to water taxi, as well as ferry to Bellagio/Verrana (10 mins walk to your left), ferry to Como & bus are few step on the right. Would stay here again. "

"Really nice place, great view. Massive hill to climb. No Ubers, and near impossible to get a taxi. We couldn’t get one until day 3. Unless you rent a car don’t book this place. Getting to and from town and the ferry with luggage is a nightmare without a car. Walking on your own is ok, but takes time and you need to be in shape. "

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (23 reviews)
"The location couldn’t have been better. Literally 5 minute walk to everything. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The only reason I did not give perfect score was the AC was not that great. Especially in the master bedroom we were very uncomfortable all night with the AC set at the lowest. Also, it wasn’t an issue for me, but several in the family were not thrilled about all of the stairs to get up to the unit."
