## Emplacement
Sainte-Maxime, ideally located in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, is a privileged destination on the Côte d'Azur. Sainte-Maxime is a true haven of tranquility where strolling by the sea invites you to live moments that we would like eternal. Small paradise between land and sea, the city is home to many beaches where swimming, lazing and water activities are combined in a sweet and family atmosphere.
With its 11 kilometres of coastline, Sainte-Maxime invites you to the joys of the beach. Whether you are with family, friends or two, the atypical beaches full of charm fulfill all desires.
Sainte-Maxime and its constant commitment to environmental protection and rational development have been rewarded since 1987 with the award of the famous European label "Blue Flag of Europe". This label recognises and guarantees the quality of bathing water and environmental performance.
The beaches and fields of posidonia (seaweed-like sea plants found on the beaches of the Mediterranean) represent a natural environment that everyone must strive to preserve.
Sainte-Maxime, like all the villages of Provence, cultivates and commemorates, throughout the year, its festivals of yesteryear... which were often linked to the cycle of the seasons and the activity of the fields. Also, these festivals were an opportunity for the village to meet, feast and forget the vicissitudes of everyday life.
