A very warm welcome as soon as I parked. Facility is in great condition. Very quiet, I have not heard my neighbour once or anybody else. Good quality finishes and all the right touches like hooks in just the right place so that you have room for your belongings.

Doesn’t get better!

B&B does not get any better. The in-the-woods location is peaceful and pretty. Louise sent a text the day before my arrival with advice and welcome. The room with en-suite bathroom was spacious, spotless and packed full of thoughtful amenities. In the fridge were ham, eggs, bread, butter, jams, Eggos, maple syrup, orange juice etc - more than enough for a great breakfast. There was also a one-ring convection cooker and frypan plus toaster and microwave. Home from home! The king-size bed was super comfortable and the shower excellent. Outside, there’s plenty of space to sit, even a fire pit. All together, this really is an excellent place to stay.

OVER CHARGE AND NOT RECOMMEND! The breakfast arrangement at this B&B was very strange and not what we expected. When we booked this B&B, we expected a proper breakfast prepared by the host, or a grab-and-go style breakfast. Before our arrival, the host messaged us saying that “breakfast is in our room,” so we assumed there would be some kind of grab-and-go breakfast in a fridge in our room. However, when we arrived, we noticed that there was no fridge in the room and not even a small side table where we could leave something as simple as a water bottle. We checked the fridge in the shared kitchen and found three muffins and one bag of bread. Since there were two other rooms on the same floor, we were not sure whether these items were meant for us or for all the guests. We also didn't know whether we were allowed to use the fridge to store our own food. We called the host, who answered quickly and explained that we were expected to prepare and cook our own breakfast. The muffins and bread were apparently intended for us, but the amount provided did not feel sufficient for us to consider it a complete breakfast. The situation was also inconvenient because there are no restaurants nearby, and we did not feel comfortable having to use a shared kitchen with other guests in the morning. To avoid this, we decided to prepare some of our breakfast the night before. However, there were no clear instructions about whether we were expected to wash the dishes,
