It is a short 5 mins drive to the cafes and restaurants of the nearby Dordogne town of Riberac. There you will find the market square with fountains, cafes and the bustling Friday morning market, one of the largest in the region. The hamlet is surrounded by agricultural land, woods and magnificent views, plus numerous marked walks. The lively market town of Perigueux is 40 minutes away, Bergerac with its vineyards and international airport 1 hour away. Everything you might need is provided, and everything worked well. The owners, Dawn and Paul, live next door and are available should you need them, but never intrude. Dawn really goes the extra mile to ensure that her guests enjoy their holiday, and they are a great source of advice and recommendations for the area. We enjoyed having exclusive use of the lovely swimming pool which is in their garden, but is in a separate section, away from their house.
