Well appointed apartment, excellent host, nice beach.
In general it was a nice stay however there were a few inconveniences with the power shutdowns (in line with protests in France) and the water cutoffs every other day (which we did not know was normal). Although the beach and amenities were nice the compound in general is a little run down. We would suggest an upgrade to the mattress, it was hard and you could feel the springs, plus it moved alot. The kitchen was well equipped and the fruit upon arrival was a nice touch. A car is required and traffic was notable. Pierre was nice and attentive and provided us with beach towels so that we didn’t have to pack any.

Pierre was truly a phenomenal host. He went way above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. He works hard to communicate though he is French, and even brought by a nice young lady to thoroughly discuss our stay and desires clearly as she spoke English well. The apartment was tidy and had just about anything you could ask for inside as a guest. Pierre bought us food and a local "beverage" the 1st night we were there and even drove me to pick up the food. My only complaint wasn't with Pierre (hence the 5 star rating), but the island shut off the water on us twice. Once, though we had water, it was cold. But Pierre's place was equipped for this and had plenty of tap water in jugs around to ensure we were able to do what we needed to do with the water.

Fantastic place near Saint-Francois
We enjoyed our stay in Pierre's apartment very much as it was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Pierre provided all the necessities and even enough food for our breakfasts, including fresh tropical fruits! We arrived after 10 pm and Pierre made sure we were able to have dinner by taking us to one of the restaurants that was still open. Apartment is located on the grounds of Le Manganao resort and we had access to the beautiful lagoon/beach with lots of shade and chairs, pool, bar/restaurant and other resort facilities. The resort is a short car ride from the center of Saint-Francois with its many restaurants and shops. One of the best bakeries is also nearby. We had a terrific time and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Pierre for your hospitality!

Pierre, un hôte au top !
Appartement propre et conforme à la description. Il y a des condiments de première nécessité, ce qui est appréciable. Notre hôte a été très réactif aux messages. Cependant la propreté de la piscine laisse à désirer (cheveux, poils, débris de la matière recouvrant la piscine), je trouve cela dommage car le site est sympa !

Appartement dans une résidence hôtelière en bord de mer - très propre et bien équipé -tout pour passer un bon séjour ( plancha - jeux de société - livres sur la Guadeloupe - raquettes tennis de table - ballon - planche de surf....)
