This was our second trip to this property. We love it here. For us it’s a nice break from everyday life. All those little extra things you think you might have forgot to bring are provided. Both times we stayed were in the winter and now we can’t wait to stay again sometime this summer. Very peaceful and charming.

Perfect rustic cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hogback lodge. Everything as expected, even the weather cooperated. We grilled steaks over the open fire pit, toured the quaint town and loved the privacy of our weekend home. Some nice touches like the kuerig cups and everything we needed. Would love to return. Five stars for this Vrbo.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

If you’re looking for a secluded mountain get away, this is it! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our fall weekend. Everything you could need was included, the place was clean quiet and the view is beautiful. We were so far up the mountain we thought we were in the wrong place until we saw the house tucked back in the woods. Definitely would love to come back!

Hogback Lodge Heaven

We had a wonderful quiet stay. The outside area was awesome. Ya packed your suitcase n it was stepping into home. A very pleasant surprise of coffee, extra things, n games. The bedrooms are captive rooms but I've never enjoyed myself so much in all my life. Very clean place n so cozy its like one is home. I would recommend this place 100%!!!! Well worth the money. Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories we took home with us. I cant praise this place enough.

Fantastic family get away!

Our family enjoyed staying at Hogback lodge. It was homey and quiet and nice for the kiddos to run around outside. We’ve definitely enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Secluded and peaceful

Although there was a lot of rain during our stay, this small secluded location was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were comfortable, every amenity imaginable was included, and we genuinely enjoyed our time at Hogback Lodge. The outside bar was an oasis where we could still spend time outdoors and dodge the droplets. We even discussed returning in May next year to indulge again, and take in the surrounding activities, of which there are many. I highly recommend this location for a small family or group of friends.

The place was remote, private, extremely clean and well maintained, with all the comforts of home.

I would unequivocally, highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone. Our expectations were high after seeing the pictures only to be exceeded when we arrived. Cozy, extremely clean, and with all the amenities, this wooded paradise made for a very enjoyable stay. One last note about the host. On the second day of our stay, there was a regional power outage due to a windstorm. Not only did the host send an employee in-person to see if we needed anything, but a second employee contacted us by phone to make sure we were accommodated. We felt this went above and beyond the host's obligation but were grateful for his efforts!
