"Receptionist was friendly, but clearly overworked. She appeared to be doing laundry, checking people in, answering phones, bartending, and who knows what else. Also, the view from our room was of a pile of dirt. Meanwhile, the lake is on the other side. It would have been way better to have a view of the lake. Breakfast was put out and forgotten about. No one came to restock, clean up, or check on anything. Many containers were empty. Probably because there were no dedicated breakfast staff. We wanted to sit out by the fire but were told "it's not working right now." It's sad that a hotel that has such potential to be nice can't be because of running with a skeleton crew. Also, our room only had one chair. Two would have been better. "

"Third stay in two months. New property. Staff is always so warm, welcoming and helpful. Clean room. Appreciate the lounge and breakfast for quick pick-ups in the go. Always fresh coffee/tea in the lobby. Looking forward to our next visit next month. "

"We stayed last year and could see a downhill trend in the property. But the staff is fantastic. They also had newborn kittens that were a nice addition. Enjoyed watching them play in their cage."

"We enjoyed our stay and being right on the water. We had a slight issue when we first arrived but the host responded with appropriate action. Just a heads up, the water from the tap in that area doesn't seem right, so we used bottled water for everything, even brushing our teeth. The town is lovely, we really enjoyed the donut shop and a cute little coffee shop that is close by. The town also has a McDonald's and Taco Bell right on water, which we thought was funny. "
