Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful location and a great selection for the continental breakfast. My family has been staying at the Bethel Inn for years. It’s one of our favorite spots in the winter when we come up to ski.
Looking forward to staying again! Such a charming, old feel. Clean as they could be with the renovations. The outdoor heated pool was a fantastic treat after a day of skiing, wouldve loved a hot tub as well but made the best out of it! Great place!
The historic charm, the welcoming fire, the comfort of the room and the surrounding atmosphere in the town are all reasons why we return to the Bethel Inn.
We picked The Bethel Inn Resort mainly for the location since we were skiing at Sunday River Ski Resort, and that part worked out great. The price felt reasonable, and having a continental breakfast included was a nice perk. The heated outdoor pool, sauna, and gym building were all really nice after a long day on the mountain.
The room itself was pretty basic and definitely a bit dated. No USB outlets, which feels like an easy upgrade these days. Parking is out front, and if you’re staying farther back (like we were), it’s kind of a haul carrying ski gear.
We ate at the restaurant one night—honestly, it felt a little chaotic and understaffed. The food was just okay, but portions were solid.
Overall, we’d probably stay again because of the location and amenities, but next time we’d try to get a room closer to the main building and avoid the Fairway side.
So charming!!! Our room was spacious and comfortable!! Loved our view. The front desk staff Diana was cheerful and helpful. She couldn't have made our checkin any more pleasant. Loved the restaurant and tavern on sight. Had a pleasant experience there as well.
Every member of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the tavern, was very friendly and professional. We will plan to stay there again on our next trip to the area.
Beautiful property with nice amenities. We liked the gas fireplace in our room! Bottles of water, mini fridge, muffins and coffee in the lobby..I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the pool and other offerings. Will definitely return!
This hotel is old and majestic. I liked it because that was what we were looking for. Stately manor with beautiful surroundings and walking distance to restaurants. My only issues were with Expedia. They don't remit the sales tax to the hotel so the hotel charged us for them so we paid for them twice. Not a pleasant surprise
